A New Family of Self-Adjoint Quantum Operators with Logarithmic Potential: From Self-Adjointness to Sharp Spectral Asymptotics and Green’s Function Analysis

Abstract

The Schrödinger operator with a combined singular, confining, and logarithmic potential arises in diverse physical contexts—from quantum dots and Bose–Einstein condensates to effective field theories. Despite its broad relevance, a rigorous spectral analysis of this operator family has remained elusive due to the simultaneous presence of three challenging features: a $1/x^{2}$ singularity at the origin, an unbounded logarithmic term, and harmonic confinement at infinity.
We introduce and rigorously analyze the one-parameter family of operators
\[H = -\frac{d^2}{dx^2} + \frac{\nu(\nu + 1)}{x^2} + \omega^2 x^2 + \beta \ln x,\qquad \nu > 0,\;\beta \in \mathbb{R},\;\omega > 0,\]
acting on $L^{2}(0,\infty)$. Self-adjointness is established through a combination of Weyl's limit-point/limit-circle classification and the KLMN theorem for quadratic forms, circumventing the failure of standard Kato–Rellich perturbation theory. The spectrum is shown to be purely discrete and bounded below, with simple eigenvalues that depend analytically on the logarithmic coupling $\beta$.
The central result of this work is the sharp asymptotic expansion of the eigenvalues for large quantum numbers:
\[E_{n} = 2\omega n + \beta \ln n + \gamma_{0} + \frac{\beta}{2n} + \mathcal{O}\left(\frac{1}{n^{2}}\right),\]
where the constant
\[\gamma_{0} = \omega \left(\nu + \tfrac{3}{2}\right) + \beta \left(\ln \sqrt{\tfrac{2}{\omega}} - \tfrac{1}{2}\right)\]
is determined explicitly from the Langer-corrected WKB quantization condition. This expansion reveals a distinctive logarithmic growth that modifies the standard linear Weyl law, yielding the spectral counting function
\[N(E) = \frac{E}{2\omega} - \frac{\beta}{2\omega}\ln E + \mathcal{O}(1).\]
To complement the asymptotic analysis, we construct the exact Green's function and prove the Hilbert–Schmidt property of the resolvent. Numerical diagonalization using a logarithmic grid confirms the asymptotic formula with relative errors below $0.02\%$ for all $n \geq 5$, validating both the analytic predictions and the underlying WKB methodology.
These results provide the first complete spectral characterization of Schrödinger operators with logarithmic potentials in the presence of singular and confining terms, with potential applications to few-body quantum systems, spectral geometry, and the analysis of trace formulae.

Axiomatic of Neutrosophic Groups

Abstract

The aim of this article is to; present a neutrosophic group according to axioms such as classical group theory and the neutrosophic set, and to study some properties and theorems related to the neutrosophic group. The new concept of the neutrosophic set is a new approach that is suitable for mathematical problems related to philosophical concepts, such as uncertainty and indeterminacy, in which human knowledge and human evaluation are necessary. Neutrosophic algebra is a branch of neutrosophic set theory, and in 2004, Kandasamy and Smarandache introduced basic neutrosophic algebraic structures and their applications to fuzzy and neutrosophic models; in 2006, Kandasamy and Smarandache presented neutrosophic algebraic structures and neutrosophic N-algebraic structures; in 2019, Smarandache introduced new fields of research in Neutrosophy, which he called Neutro-Structures and Anti-Structures. In 2020, Agboola presented an Introduction to the neutrosophic group by a different presentation.

Abstract

This Comment examines the reproducibility of selected central derivations in the article by R. A. M. S. Aoudh, "Quantum Fundamental Speed Theory: Mathematical Derivations of Dark Matter and Dark Energy from the Speed Field," published in Sana'a University Journal of Applied Sciences and Technology. The analysis is limited to whether several mathematical and numerical conclusions follow from the equations printed in the article. Four technical concerns are identified: the screening-length linearization, the Taylor expansion of the logarithmic potential, the energy-density/mass-density matching in the dark-energy calculation, and the interpretation of lower bounds on the predicted ultralight mass.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the primary factors influencing anemia among pregnant women and to compare then classification efficiency of Logistic Regression LR and Discriminant Analysis DA. The study utilized a random sample of (361) pregnant women visiting Al-Sabeen Hospital during the period (2023-2024). Independent variables included demographic characteristics, reproductive history, and health habits. Results indicated that nutritional Supplement Intake was the most influential predictor for classifying anemia in both models, followed by Body Missed Index BMI, Smoling, Age, Family size, N. of pregnancy, and N. of Births. Conversely, education level and household income showed no statistically significant impact. In terms of performance, LR demonstrated superior classification accuracy at 88.1%, compared to 86.9% for DA. These findings confirm the high predictive and discriminatory capacity of the models in identifying anemic cases within the clinical women.

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce novel concepts that represent unique contributions to the framework of supra soft topological spaces. First, we define and characterize the notion of feeble α-supra open soft subsets, establishing their fundamental properties. Through illustrative examples, we demonstrate the relationships between this class
of soft subsets and existing generalizations of supra open soft sets. Then, we put forward the concepts of interior, closure, frontier, and accumulation operators induced by the class of feeble α-supra open soft and α-closed subsets, deriving their key properties and establishing fundamental relationships through some formulas

Abstract

This paper introduces a novel fractional-order framework for modeling tumor-immune-drug interactions using Ψ-Caputo derivatives with general memory kernels. Unlike classical approaches, our model captures hereditary effects and anomalous transport inherent in cancer biology through flexible time-scaling laws. We establish rigorous theoretical guarantees, including existence, uniqueness, non-negativity, and boundedness of solutions, ensuring biological feasibility. Numerically, we develop a fully implicit θ-method with Ψ-Caputo discretization, proving unconditional stability and demonstrating its efficacy through comprehensive simulations. Our results reveal how the fractional order ξ and kernel selection critically regulate tumor persistence, immune activation, and treatment outcomes, uncovering memory-driven dynamics inaccessible to integer-order models. This work demonstrates that Ψ-Caputo operators are a powerful tool for predictive oncology, bridging fractional partial differential equation theory with cancer systems biology.

Abstract

The Burke-Shaw model (BSM), which is grounded in the Lorenz system, is essential in various areas of physics and engineering. In this paper, we investigate the application of a fractional derivative with a Mittag Leffler (M-L) type kernel to address the existence, uniqueness, and Hyers-Ulam stability (HUS) of solutions for the fractional-order BSM. We utilize the ABC-fractional derivative, developed by Atangana and Baleanu, as it offers a more adaptable approach suitable for a diverse array of real-world applications. To demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of solutions, as well as HUS, we introduce a set of necessary conditions that ensure the results presented in this study.

Abstract

Green nanobiotechnology represents a sustainable and cost-effective platform for synthesizing metallic nanoparticles using biologically driven mechanisms. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were biosynthesized for the first time using methanolic and ethanolic extracts of Rumex nervosus flowers and fruits. Phytochemical profiling confirmed the presence of phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, and related secondary metabolites in R.nervosus flower and fruit extracts, which served as intrinsic reducing and stabilizing agents for AgNP synthesis. The formation of Silver Nanoparticles was indicated by a distinct color transition and further verified by ultraviolet–Visible Spectroscopy, which revealed characteristic surface plasmon resonance. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy demonstrated notable shifts in the O–H, C=O, C–O, and C–N vibrational bands in the extracts, confirming their involvement in metal ion reduction and capping. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed a face-centered cubic crystalline structure with an average crystallite diameter ranging from 20.7–23.9 nm. Antioxidant evaluation via the 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl assay showed that AgNPs exhibited superior radical-scavenging capacity compared to crude extracts, with methanolic AgNPs demonstrating the highest activity (91.69%). Antimicro- bial testing revealed that ethanolic AgNPs displayed significant inhibitory activity against gram-negative bacteria, whereas methanolic AgNPs showed negligible effects owing to enhanced nanoparticle stabilization and reduced Ag + availability. These results highlight that R. nervosus is an effective biomediator for AgNP formation with promising antioxidant and antibacterial applications.

Abstract

The Article discusses neutrosophic left/right cosets, their properties, neutrosophic normal subgroups, and neutrosophic quotient groups with some theories and examples. The concept of Neutrosophic Groups was introduced by Kandasamy and Smarandache in their work in 2006 as part of a broader field of research in neutrosophy. Neutrosophic Groups are defined by classical NeutroAxioms according to the Neutrosophic Set theory, which has type-1, The paper explores various structures related to Neutrosophic Groups, including examples of neutrosophic groups, neutrosophic left/right cosets, neutrosophic normal subgroups, Neutrosophic Lagrange’s theorem, quotient groups, and their properties, several results of the theorems, and examples are demonstrated with Gt1 [I].

Abstract

We present a quantum formulation of the Fundamental Speed Theory (QFST) built from the classical FST Lagrangian, where the dimensionless speed field νμ plays a dual role: it modifies gravity classically in galaxies, while its quantum excitations behave as ultra-light dark matter on cosmological scales.On galactic scales, the classical FST equation fits rotation-curve data without dark matter (171 SPARC galaxies, χ²ν = 0.170). Linearization yields a screening scale μ = 1/λscreen, implying a particle mass m = ħ/(c λscreen) = 3.88 × 10−24 eV, with no free parameters. Quantum corrections to the galactic equation are suppressed by (ℓPl/λscreen)² ≈ 10−103, ensuring classical-quantum separation.Dark energy arises from the logarithmic potential V(ν̃) = −V0 ln(1 + ν̃²/ν₀²). We obtain a positive vacuum energy density ρΛ = [c⁴/(16πGL₀²)] · U(ν̃now) and determine ν̃now = 8.21 × 10−12 by matching the observed ρΛ. At the background level, QFST reproduces the standard expansion history as tested by Cosmic Chronometer H(z) data. Full discrimination from ΛCDM requires a Boltzmann-code implementation at the perturbation level.In a spatially flat FLRW spacetime, we derive the reduced kinetic scalar including Hν terms, construct the stress-energy tensor T(ν)μν, and obtain closed-form expressions for ρν and pν. The equation of state w(z) = pν/ρν is determined by the coupled background system (Friedmann equations plus the ν(t) equation of motion). Detailed derivations and dimensional checks are provided in the appendices.

Abstract

This document provides a detailed, point-by-point response to the Technical Note submitted on August 3, 2026, concerning my paper "Quantum Fundamental Speed Theory: Mathematical Derivations of Dark Matter and Dark Energy from the Speed Field" (DOI: 10.59628/jast.v4i7.3446). The Technical Note raises four main criticisms regarding (1) the linearization used to derive the screening length, (2) the Taylor expansion of the logarithmic potential, (3) the units used in the dark-energy density calculation, and (4) the interpretation of ultralight dark-matter bounds. I demonstrate that three of these criticisms are based on misunderstandings of the physical context or on algebraic/unit errors in the Technical Note itself. One criticism—concerning the Taylor expansion of the logarithmic potential—is acknowledged as correct analytically, but it does not affect the final numerical results, which are obtained from a full numerical solution of the coupled background system. I provide detailed derivations, dimensional analyses, and references to the existing literature to support my responses

Abstract

This paper aims to make a valuable contribution to the field of neutrosophic determinants and their properties. By utilizing neutrosophic real numbers in the form of a+bI, we provide an alternative approach to recent research on determinants conducted between 2020 and 2023. Our goal is to expand the scope of academic content being developed in the theory of neutrosophic linear algebra. Additionally, we seek to complement our work on some algebraic structures of neutrosophic matrices.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the most significant factors distinguishing between diabetes and non-diabetes, using linear discriminant analysis LDA. A sample of 368 individuals (225 diabetes mellitus, 143 non- diabetes mellitus) was analyzed based on data collected through via personal interviews and Al-Thawrah General Hospital in the capital Sana’a records, for the year 2025. The stepwise discriminant analysis led to the building of a statistically significant model. Results revealed that the variables (x₅) body mass index BMI, (x₁₀) Cholesterol, ( x₆) Gout, (x₉) Blood pressure, and ( x₂) Age, had the highest discriminative power, as indicated by standardized coefficients and Wilks’ Lambda values (p < 0.05). These variables significantly contributed to classifying cases, while the remaining variables did not demonstrate a significant effect. The overall correct classification rate for diabetes mellitus DM reached 87.3%, when the overall classification accuracy of the model reached 89.9%, confirming its strong predictive power.

Abstract

أُجريت هذه التجربة عام 2022م في بيت زجاجي بكلية الزراعة - جامعة صنعاء خلال الموسم الزراعي للذرة، حيث امتدت الفترة الزمنية للتجربة من الأول من يونيو وحتى الثاني والعشرين من يوليو بواقع 52 يوماً لتقييم تأثير ري الذرة الرفيعة في تربة كلسية طميية بمستويات مختلفة من المياه الرمادية ومياه المجاري المعالجة جزئياً/أولية الممزوجة بالمياه الجوفية. ويُقصد بنسب المزج: النسب الحجمية المعتمدة للمزج بين المياه الجوفية والمياه الرمادية والمجاري المعالجة، والتي شملت خمسة مستويات(4:0، 3:1، 1:1، 1:3، 0:4 . ( أظهرت النتائج أن مياه المجاري غير الممزوجة (4:0) رفعت ملوحة التربة (ECe) إلى 1.36 ديسيسيمنز/متر مقارنة بـ 0.24 ديسيسيمنز/متر قبل التجربة، وزادت تركيز النحاس الميسر إلى 17.00 ملغم/لتر. في المقابل، حققت نسبة المزج 1:3 (جوفية: مجاري) أعلى وزن طازج للمحصول بلغ 18.67 جم/أصيص بزيادة قدرها 17.3% عن المعاملة غير الممزوجة. كما حققت نسبة المزج 1:1 لكل من مياه المجاري والمياه الرمادية أعلى وزن جاف للعلف بلغ 5.05 و 4.68 جم/أصيص على التوالي، مما يثبت دور نسب المزج الكمية في تحسين الإنتاجية والحد من تدهور التربة.
