Proposal for Establishing Scientific Gardens in Yemeni Universities

Abstract
The current research aims to develop a proposed concept for establishing scientific gardens in Yemeni universities. The researcher utilized a descriptive methodology and employed a purposive sampling technique. The original research community consisted of experts in the field of management and educational planning from the following Yemeni universities: Sana'a، Aden، Taiz، Hajjah، Al Hudaydah، Amran، Dhamar، and Shabwah. The total number of participants was 32، and the researcher used the modified Delphi method. The researcher utilized a questionnaire as a tool to achieve the research objectives، and its validity was confirmed with an agreement rate among the referees of 92% or higher and a reliability coefficient of 0.99. The questionnaire consisted of 69 items distributed across six domains representing the main dimensions of scientific gardens: vision، mission، and objectives; organizational and legislative structure; human and financial resources; technological and material resources; research and scientific culture; partnership and community development.
The research findings revealed several important results، including the following:
- The level of importance of building the proposed elements for establishing scientific gardens in Yemeni universities، as perceived by the participating experts، was high، with an average score of 4.04 and a relative weight of 80.7%.
- The research also resulted in a set of recommendations and proposals، the most important of which is the implementation of the proposed concept for establishing scientific gardens in Yemeni universities.
