This research aims to explain what negative administrative decisions are, their characteristics and conditions for their presence in the Yemeni legal system. The importance of the issue lies in that this type of administrative decisions is still being imposed in Yemen due to the absence of the legal organization and the lack of judicial rulings as a result of the absence of the independent and specialized administrative judiciary system as It is in the dual judiciary countries, as is the case in the Egyptian and French regime.

The research was based on the descriptive and comparative approach with the aim of benefiting from the comparative legal systems, foremost of which is the Egyptian and French regime by standing on the latest and most important jurisprudence and judicial jurisprudence that dealt with the negative administrative decision, and explaining the position of the Yemeni judiciary on this type of administrative decisions.

The results concluded that the negative administrative decision is generated in the event of the administration's silence or its silence on the issuance of an administrative decision that must be issued under the laws and regulations. The research concluded that the most important defects of the negative administrative decision often appear in the shops of the store and the reason, and one of the most important recommendations is the call of the Yemeni legislator to include an explicit text in the Civil Procedure Law decides that the administration's failure to issue an administrative decision is obligated to issue it is considered in the provision of administrative decisions, to enhance the clarity of the concept of the negative administrative decision And its controls, in order to activate the monitoring of its elimination, and withdraw the rug from the administrative authorities to control the requests and interests of individuals.

The study aimed to identify the impact of strategic planning on the sustainability of industrial companies in Yemen (a field study on Hael Saeed Anam & Co. Industrial Companies). The study followed a descriptive and analytical approach. A questionnaire was used to collect data, which was administered to a sample of (196) individuals working in leadership and supervisory positions at Hael Saeed Anam & Co. Industrial Companies. The study results showed that the level of strategic planning, with its dimensions (environmental analysis, strategic direction, strategy formulation, strategic implementation, and strategic control and evaluation), is very high at Hayel Saeed Anam & Co. Industrial Companies. The study also showed that the level of sustainability of industrial companies, with its dimensions (economic sustainability, social sustainability, environmental sustainability, and financial sustainability), is very high at Hael Saeed Anam & Co. Industrial Companies. The study results also demonstrated a statistically significant positive impact of strategic planning on corporate sustainability at Hael Saeed Anam & Co. Industrial Companies.

The research problem centers on the accusation that the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen ceded Kamran Island to the British colonizer. This study seeks to explore several questions: What was strategic and military significance of Kamran Island? What arguments did the colonizer use to justify its prolonged presence on the island? Did the Yemeni government truly relinquish part of its territorial waters in the red sea? the main question guiding the study is: what policy did the Yemen government pursue during the reign of imam Yahya (1918-1948) and later under his son imam Ahmad (1948-1962) to reclaim Kamran Island from the British occupier? The importance of the study lies in unveiling Yemen's policy regarding the recovery of Kamran Island through scholarly works and manuscripts. To achieve its objectives, the research employs the descriptive-analytical historical method in analyzing and presenting historical events. The study is structured into three main sections: the first examines the geographical characteristics of Kamran Island: the second discusses the island under imam yahya: and the third investigates the situation of Kamran during the reign of imam Ahmad.The study concludes with several key findings and recommendations, most notably that the Mutawakkilitte Kingdom of

and territorial waters by all possible means.

Moreover, the history of Yemeni islands, as well as Yemen's modern and contemporary history, remains in need of further study through both Yemeni and foreign documents that have not yet been published. it is therefore imperative for the courage researchers and historians to investigate this crucial period in Yemen's history.

The study aimed to examine the impact of supply chain management with its dimensions (strategic supplier alliances, internal process integration, and customer relationships) on logistics sector projects management within universal Group (project time management, cost management, and quality management). All 87 staff participated, enabling a comprehensive census approach. Data collection relied on a descriptive-analytical method using a questionnaire, with SPSS employed for statistical analysis. Findings revealed a significant impact of supply chain management on project management overall, although strategic alliances with suppliers showed no notable effect. Recommendations include enhancing supplier relationships and implementing training programs to improve coordination among suppliers, project teams, and customers.

electronic educational games on developing mathematical proficiency among fourth- grade pupils in Sana’a Governorate. To achieve the research goal, the researcher designed two electronic educational games based on different navigation patterns (linear, lists).

     The experimental method was followed with two experimental groups. The research sample consisted of (60) male and female pupils from fourth- grade pupils at Maria Coptic Girls School and Al-Shorouk Model Private Schools, the main branch. They were divided into two equal experimental groups, with (30) male and female pupils per group.

     The electronic game based on the linear navigation pattern was applied to the first group, and electronic game based on the lists navigation pattern was applied to the second group.

     The research tools, represented by the achievement test and the productive desire scale, were also applied to the sample before and after the experiment The research results showed a positive effect for each navigation style (linear, lists) in electronic educational games on the development of mathematical proficiency in the two experimental groups.

 The post-measurement results also confirmed that there were no differences between the two styles in the development of athletic prowess.

     The researcher recommended paying attention to the development of athletic prowess in the primary and secondary stages, and designing electronic games in the teaching of science subjects at all educational levels, as these games include different navigation styles.

This study aimed to define the educational concept of cheating, its legal ruling, and to demonstrate the role of Islamic education in reducing the phenomenon of cheating in the educational process. The researcher used a descriptive and documentary approach based on analysis and deduction. The study concluded a lot of findings, the most important of which are: The most dangerous challenges facing Islamic education and its educational institutions in our contemporary reality are the challenges and problems related to cheating. Furthermore, the shift away from Allah's approach and the guidance of His noble Messenger, along with a lack of understanding of the provisions of the noble Islamic Sharia, has led to ignorance of the prohibition of cheating, which has contributed to its spread and prevalence in most areas of life, including the educational domain. The weakness of faith-based education, the decline of moral standards, and the decline of the concept of trustworthiness and responsibility in the curricula of Islamic educational institutions have contributed to the spread of cheating. In light of these findings, the study recommended the necessity of combining the efforts of the various educational institutions concerned with bringing up a Muslim individual, and unifying their educational discourse based on the objectives and great principles of Islam, in a way that makes them feel the love of Islam, and its fear about their educational and professional future, and the necessity of clarifying the dangers of cheating and its contradiction with the principles and values ​​of Islam, through the various and diverse means of awareness, so that it is within the framework of true Islamic education that instills in learners the targets of Islam and its lofty ethics.

    The aim of the research was to measure the level of aggressive behavior among kindergarten children, and its relationship with some demographic variables (gender, educational qualification of parents, birth order of the child) from the point of view of the teachers. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research sample consisted of (143) boys and girls from the government kindergartens affiliated with the Secretariat of the capital, Sana’a, whose ages ranged between (5-6) years. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used a scale of aggressive behavior for kindergarten children prepared by Abdulhaleem Mazzoz (2018), and a personal information questionnaire for the child. The reach  arrived to the  following results: The level of aggressive behavior among kindergarten children was low statistically. There were statistically significant differences in the level of aggressive behavior due to the gender variable (males – females) in favor of males. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of aggressive behavior in kindergarten children due to the variables of the parents' educational level and the child's birth order, In light of these results, the researcher reached a number of tips, the most important of which are related to the periodic training of specialists and educators, due to its role in the emergence of aggressive behavior among children in the kindergarten stage.

The study aimed to determine the role of strategic leadership with its dimensions (strategic direction, human capital development, organizational culture, core capabilities, balanced organizational control) in achieving the competitive advantage for the communications sector of capital Sana'a secretariat. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and to collect field data, they relied on the questionnaire tool. The size of the study population was (790)  administrative leaders in five companies in the telecommunications sector. (286) questionnaires were analyzed. After conducting the data analysis process, the study reached the following results: The level of availability of the dimensions of strategic leadership in general was high, and the level of availability of the competitive advantage in general was somewhat high. The results of the study also showed that there is a statistically significant effect of strategic leadership with its dimensions (strategic direction, human capital development, organizational culture, core capabilities, balanced organizational control) in achieving the competitive advantage for the communications sector of capital Sana'a secretariat.

The research aimed to investigate the impact of information technology on enhancing institutional performance in Yemeni shipping companies. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and to collect field data, he relied on a questionnaire tool. The study population consisted of (57) Yemeni shipping companies, including (32) companies operating under the Red Sea Ports Corporation of Yemen. A comprehensive survey was conducted with a total sample size of (214) employees. The most prominent results were that the level of availability of information technology in the Yemeni shipping companies under study was high in all dimensions, it obtained an arithmetic mean of (3.92) and a percentage of (78.40%). Similarly, the institutional performance level in these companies was also high dimensions, it obtained an arithmetic mean of (3.78) and a percentage of (75.60%). Furthermore, the study demonstrated a statistically significant effect of information technology encompassing (hardware and equipment, databases, software, communication networks, human skills, and information security) on improving institutional performance in Yemeni shipping companies. The correlation coefficient between the two variables was (R = 0.737), indicating a strong and positive relationship.

However, the legislator deviated from the rule and decided that the criminal courts have the right to deal with new details that involve the discovery of new defendants or other criminal acts that were not mentioned in the referral decision and to take the decision to refer them to the public prosecution for investigation and action in accordance with the law.

The legislator's deviation from the norm and granting the criminal court the authority to intervene may aim to ensure that no criminal escapes punishment, and to avoid any error or negligence from the public prosecution that could lead to a failure to achieve justice.

The study of the concept of obstruction, its types, and when criminal courts obstruct the initiation of the criminal case? In terms of cases of obstruction, conditions, and procedures, it relies on the analytical method in cataloging and precisely analyzing the provisions of the Yemeni Criminal Procedure Law to reach an understanding of the answer.

Education in Yemen had been facing significant challenges even before the political, economic, and social crises that erupted in 2011. However, the aggression that began in 2014 intensified these challenges and profoundly affected the quality of both basic and higher education. This study focuses on higher education, aiming to examine the impact of the war on the academic achievement of students at the Faculty of Engineering, Sana’a University, as a model that can be generalized to other faculties.

The research employed a quantitative approach using a questionnaire distributed to faculty members and teaching assistants, covering 85% of the total staff. Statistical analysis revealed that the general academic situation, shaped by the war, had a significant impact on students’ academic achievement. Respondents confirmed the presence of multiple influencing factors, ranked according to their statistical importance. Findings also indicated that the war negatively affected students’ academic performance through intertwined educational, social, and economic challenges.

The study concludes with several recommendations, most notably the need to adopt educational and social policies to mitigate the consequences of war and crises, and to develop effective mechanisms for assessing the quality of higher education during conflict periods to ensure continuity and improved outcomes.

This research seeks to present a description of the vowels in the Qudam Hajjah dialect, a dialect of the Yemeni city of Hajjah. This study merely sheds light on and presents a vision of the vowels in this dialect, studying them from a phonetic and physical perspective. The research aims to uncover the phonetic and physical characteristics that characterize the spoken dialect in the study area, and to discuss these features in light of modern phonology, using Daniel Jones' criteria for describing vowels. The research utilized a descriptive approach to study these vowels. The importance of the research lies in presenting a study of the characteristics of these vowels through an analysis of some of the dialect's spoken texts. The most important findings of the research are as follows:

- The rarity of semi-expanded vowels in the dialect.

- The most voiced and constricted vowel is the long vowel /u:/.

- The influence of adjacent consonants on the strength and weakness of the voiced vowel.

-The Qadam Hajjah dialect is mostly based on the five-vowel system, which includes (a-i-u-e-o).

This study examines and analyzes one of the most overlooked atrocities in the modern history of the Arabian Peninsula: the massacre of Yemeni pilgrims in Tanomah and Sadwan in 1923, carried out by the “Ikhwan” forces loyal to Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, with direct British complicity or supportive silence, amid an intense political and military struggle in southern Arabia. The research aims to uncover the direct and underlying causes that led to this massacre, identify the actual actors responsible for it, and dismantle the official Saudi narrative that has attempted to obscure the truth for nearly a century.

The study employs a composite historical-analytical methodology that integrates contemporary historical sources and documents, rare manuscripts, oral testimonies from survivors and descendants of the victims, and modern scholarly studies.

The research concludes with several key findings, most notably: that the massacre was neither an accidental incident nor an isolated act by individual fighters, but rather part of a deliberate political strategy intended to demonstrate loyalty to Britain and expand Najdi influence in Yemen and ‘Asir; that Ibn Saud’s forces carried out systematic mass killings targeting unarmed pilgrims en route to perform Hajj; and that attempts to exonerate Ibn Saud by attributing responsibility solely to the Ikhwan lack historical foundation.

The study further reveals the extent of deliberate concealment of the event in modern Saudi historiography. It recommends incorporating the massacre into Yemeni educational curricula, establishing a national center dedicated to its documentation, and encouraging academic research to reconstruct this critical period in the modern history of Yemen and the Arabian Peninsula.

This study aims to introduce the scholar ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd al-Walī b. Muḥammad al-Ward (d. after 1273 AH), and to shed light on his book Al-Jawhar al-Aṣīl al-Mukhtaṣar min Maʿālim al-Tanzīl, highlighting its significance, distinctive features, methodology, and the way he structured its chapters, sections, and issues. The research examines and edits a sample from the work, namely Kitāb Dhikr al-Waṣiyya wa-Taḥrīḍ al-Waṣī fī Ḥifẓ Māl al-Wuratha (“The Book of Bequests and the Executor’s Duty to Safeguard the Heirs’ Property”).

The study is divided into three sections: the first introduces the author and his era, both in terms of influence and context; the second discusses his book Al-Jawhar al-Aṣīl; while the third provides a critical edition of a sample from the book, namely the section on bequests.

The researcher adopted the inductive-analytical approach in tracing the author’s methodology, and the historical approach in presenting the author and his era. His evidential method combined proofs from the Qur’an, the Sunnah, scholarly consensus, analogy, linguistic reasoning, and lived reality. Typically, he opened his discussions with biographical notes, followed by his own synthesized commentary summarizing his preferred opinions and judgments, then supported them with textual citations from al-Baghawī’s Maʿālim al-Tanzīl, and occasionally from other sources.

The researcher concludes by recommending further study of this work from jurisprudential, theological, and pedagogical perspectives.

The study aimed to identify the role of the United Nations in providing humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni society during the aggression against Yemen, as well as to uncover the obstacles it faces in delivering such assistance. The historical method was employed to trace the emergence, development, objectives, and principles of the United Nations, in addition to the content analysis method, which was applied to analyze scientific studies and both local and international reports related to the research topic. One of the most significant findings of the study is that the role of the United Nations in providing humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni society during the period of aggression against Yemen was weak. The research also revealed the existence of several obstacles that hindered the United Nations from delivering humanitarian aid effectively and positively across various fields. The study concluded with a set of recommendations and suggestions that could strengthen the role of the United Nations in providing assistance to the Yemeni society in the future, through addressing the identified obstacles, ensuring the continuation of international support for active civil society organizations on the ground, and working to protect them from polarization by all parties.

The study aimed to identify the obstacles to writing scientific research from the point of view of graduate students at Sana'a University. The researcher used the descriptive approach because it was appropriate for the subject of the study، and the questionnaire tool was prepared by the researcher. A simple random sample was chosen، numbering (86). male and female students was selected. The study yielded a set of conclusions، the most important of which are:

1-The results showed that most graduate students suffer from poor training in scientific research skills and difficulties in selecting topics and formulating problems، which confirms the need for intensive academic training.

2- The limited availability of up-to-date references and poor university library services have proven to be major obstacles، along with the difficulty of accessing global databases. This leads to poor quality research content and lengthens the time it takes to complete it.

 3-The results revealed problems in the relationship between student and supervisor، most notably poor communication، delayed feedback، and insufficient availability on the part of supervisors، all of which negatively impact the progress of student research.

4-It became clear that the lengthy and complex administrative procedures at the university constitute a significant obstacle to research completion، in addition to the lack of financial and logistical support and limited coordination between academic departments.

This study aimed to identify the functional competencies required for educational administration directors in Ibb Governorate in light of knowledge management. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method and utilized a questionnaire that was designed, reviewed by a panel of experts, and validated for reliability with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.98 — indicating a very high level of reliability.

The study population consisted of all educational administration directors, deputy directors, and heads of departments in Ibb Governorate, totaling (652) individuals. A stratified random sample of (128) participants was selected, representing (19.6%) of the total population. The findings revealed that the level of availability of functional competencies among directors was moderate across all domains. The domain of "Knowledge Application and Utilization" ranked first, followed by "Knowledge Generation and Development", "Knowledge Documentation and Organization", and finally "Knowledge Dissemination and Transfer". The study recommended developing targeted training programs to enhance these competencies and creating a supportive environment for knowledge management in educational administrations.

The study aimed to investigate the Role of the Artificial Intelligence as an interactive Variable between Using Solar Energy & Sustainable Development under the Mediation of Quality of Life and Food Security (Applying on The Solar Energy Companies in Dongola City). The study followed the descriptive analytical method. The study sample consist of (200) Workers. The results indicate there is an indirect (interactive) impact relationship of Using Solar Energy in the interaction with the Artificial Intelligence in Sustainable Development with a change in the determination coefficient of (0.063), In addition, Quality of Life and Food Security fully mediates the relationship between Using Solar Energy & Sustainable Development with an indirect (mediated) effect of (0.656). The study recommended the need for The Solar Energy Companies in Dongola City to care about Using Solar Energy in generating electricity because of its importance in achieving Sustainable Development, and the need for The Solar Energy Companies in Dongola City to develop appropriate plans and procedures that will overcome the obstacles that face Users life Quality & Support Food Security properly.

This study aimed to assess the quality level of nursing care provided in cesarean delivery units at Al-Jumhuri and 22 May Hospitals in Sana’a. It also sought to identify the impact of demographic variables and professional experience on the quality of care. A descriptive methodology was employed, involving a random sample of 102 nurses and midwives. Data were collected using a specially designed questionnaire and analyzed statistically using SPSS software through frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic means.

The results indicated that the overall level of nursing care quality was moderate, at 69.1%, a trend consistent across the three stages of cesarean delivery (preoperative 69.8%, intraoperative 68%, and postoperative 69.7%). Most aspects of care were rated at a moderate level, except for the use of the partograph, which was rated low at 58.8%. Statistically significant differences in quality levels were found based on years of experience, particularly among staff with more than 10 years of service, while educational level and age showed no notable impact.

The study recommends activating continuous training and qualification programs focused on quality care policies, with emphasis on enhancing documentation skills and the use of advanced tools to ensure improved quality standards and achieve patient safety and satisfaction.

The study aimed to identify the impact of organizational development on improving the quality of services in the public works sector. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers relied on the descriptive approach with a survey and correlation type. Information was collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of (203) participants. The study concluded that the reality of organizational development in the public works sector was at an average level with an arithmetic mean of (3.09). While the level of application of service quality came in at a high degree with an arithmetic mean of (3.43), this is due to the presence of interest in service provision standards, which was reflected in the opinions of the study sample. The study results also confirmed the presence of a statistically significant effect of organizational development in all its dimensions on the quality of services in the public works sector. The most prominent recommendations were the need to consolidate the concepts and objectives of organizational development among employees in the public works sector at all administrative levels, and to continuously develop the organizational structure on a regular basis, in line with modern changes and developments, to become more flexible and support the process of communication and contact between all departments. The Public Works Sector should adopt the application of service quality dimensions, as a safety valve for the continuity of service provision in the sector and the satisfaction of beneficiaries with the services provided. It should also increase attention to the tangible material aspects of the sector, to ensure the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

• This study is an attempt to address a gap in research on evaluating human versus AI translations of modern Arabic literary works. To achieve this objective, the study conducts a qualitative, quantitative descriptive-analytical comparison between Hilary Kilpatrick’s published English translation of Ghassan Kanafani's novella Men in the Sun (1963) and those generated by three AI tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, and DeepSeek. Using a corpus of randomly chosen 17 extracts from the novella and guided by Nord's functionalist error typology, the study focuses specifically on evaluating the data translations in terms of fluency, cultural adequacy, and literary devices. The findings reveal that the human translation has proved superior in that it, by means of adaptation, attends to the nuanced pragmatic and cultural aspects in the ST to preserve the original author's intent, a task that all AI models appear to frequently fail to undertake. The AI translations, though often linguistically fluent, exhibit pragmatically and culturally serious errors, tending to misinterpret contextual variables, idioms, and culture-specific references. Among the AI tools, it is DeepSeek that produced a translation with more lexical precision and stylistic alignment. The study concludes, then, that while AI is a powerful translation tool, it currently lacks the components that can efficiently handle deep contextual knowledge essential for literary translation, which reinforces the indispensability of the human translator’s role as a cultural mediator.

   

This study investigates the manifestations of intellectual invasion in public school curricula in Bangladesh, with a special focus on cultural and doctrinal issues in the textbooks of civic education, social studies, Bengali, and English taught in grades 1–10 during the 2012–2022 curriculum cycle. A descriptive-analytical method was employed to examine the content of some textbooks selected from those which have been approved by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). To validate the findings, expert opinions from Islamic scholars and education specialists were consulted. The analysis revealed several elements that encourage the equalization of religions, promote participation in non-Islamic festivals, mislabel polytheistic rituals as “festivals,” and present religious innovations (bid‘ah) as Islamic holidays. Additionally, elements of Hindu culture were presented as national traditions, and secular perspectives on gender equality were embedded in educational materials. These practices pose significant risks to the preservation of Islamic creed and identity among students. The study concludes with recommendations for curriculum reform, emphasizing the need for alignment with Islamic principles while respecting cultural diversity.

This research proposes a novel five-parameter statistical distribution called the Beta Transmuted Mukherjee-Islam (BTM-I) distribution. This distribution has been developed to enhance the capability and flexibility of statistical modeling for various data characteristics. It integrates the Beta technique and the quadratic rank transmutation map method with the Mukherjee-Islam distribution. The proposed distribution encompasses several competing models as special cases and is characterized by five parameters, making it more flexible in representing diverse data types.

The study derives the mathematical properties of the new distribution, including moments, moment generating function, mean deviation, order statistics, and reliability analysis. The estimation of the parameters is performed using the Maximum Likelihood method (MLE). The accuracy of these estimators is evaluated through an extensive simulation study of key performance metrics like Bias, Standard Error (SE), and Mean Squared Error (MSE). Crucial measures for assessing confidence intervals, such as Coverage Probability (CP) and Coverage Length (CL), were also utilized. The results demonstrated that the maximum likelihood estimators were consistent and the obtained CP and CL values were satisfactory, confirming the reliability and effectiveness of the estimations.

The study also includes a practical application to three real-world datasets to illustrate the significance, efficiency, and utility of the proposed distribution. The performance of the BTM-I distribution was compared to that of several competing statistical models. The results conclusively showed that the BTM-I distribution possesses superior flexibility that enables it to effectively model various types of data and outperform the competing models. These findings confirm that the BTM-I distribution is a robust and effective tool and represents a valuable addition for statisticians and researchers across multiple fields. 

This study aims to explore EFL students’ attitudes towards Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a teaching method to develop writing skills. To achieve this goal, a study sample of 40 second-level EFL students at the Faculty of Education at Sana'a University were randomly selected after taking PBL writing classes for an entire semester. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed to analyze the data that were collected using a close-ended questionnaire. The responses were analyzed via the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), utilizing such descriptive statistics as means, standard deviation, and relative weight of interpretation. The findings revealed that students held highly positive attitudes towards the use of project-based learning as a method for developing writing skills. The study recommends further investigation into the effectiveness of this learning style in improving EFL students’ other language skills as well as across various colleges.

  The study aimed to examine the relationship between academic stress and academic and career aspirations among fifth-year medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Derna, in the aftermath of Storm Daniel, using a descriptive–analytical approach. The study sample consisted of 34 male and female students selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using an electronic questionnaire whose validity and reliability were verified,The results indicated that the level of academic stress was moderate (3.61), with the most prominent sources being examinations, lack of psychological support, and the intensity of academic coursework. The level of academic and career aspiration was moderately high (3.47), with a clear emphasis on acquiring professional experience. Spearman’s correlation analysis revealed a statistically significant moderate inverse relationship between academic stress and aspiration (ρ = −0.352, p = 0.041), with the items related to “lack of psychological support” and “emergency events” showing the strongest negative association with aspiration,Furthermore, the linear regression model failed to achieve statistical significance, suggesting that the relationship between the two variables is mediated by other factors. The study concluded that academic stress negatively affects academic and career aspirations, particularly the professional dimension, and that psychological support and resilience in coping with disasters are critical factors in sustaining students’ aspirations. Accordingly, the study recommended strengthening psychological and counseling support services, developing career guidance programs, and establishing flexible mechanisms to address exceptional circumstances.

This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of theYemeni version of World Health Organization Quality of Life 100-item scale (WHOQOL-100) for Yemeni university students in Sana’a. A descriptive research design was adopted، utilizing the WHOQOL-100 scale that was translated into Arabic and adapted for the Yemeni context. The scale was administered to a sample of (1،004) students from public and private universities in Sana’a during the academic year 2022/2023. The study found that the Yemeni version of the WHOQOL-100 showed strong psychometric properties، including content and construct validity، and high reliability. Content validity was supported by over 80% expert agreement، with four culturally inappropriate items removed. Construct validity was confirmed through internal consistency and discriminant validity. Reliability was high، with Cronbach’s alpha at (0.96) for the general domain، (0.81–0.93) for main domains، and (0.59–0.90) for subdomains. The adapted Yemeni version included (96) items. The results indicated that the QoL level was higher than medium among university students. The highest levels were autonomy and religious beliefs، while the public relations and the environmental domains were the lowest ones.
