The Role of Strategic Leadership in Achieving Competitive Advantage in The Communications Sector of Capital Sana'a secretariat

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of strategic leadership with its dimensions (strategic direction, human capital development, organizational culture, core capabilities, balanced organizational control) in achieving the competitive advantage for the communications sector of capital Sana'a secretariat. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and to collect field data, they relied on the questionnaire tool. The size of the study population was (790)  administrative leaders in five companies in the telecommunications sector. (286) questionnaires were analyzed. After conducting the data analysis process, the study reached the following results: The level of availability of the dimensions of strategic leadership in general was high, and the level of availability of the competitive advantage in general was somewhat high. The results of the study also showed that there is a statistically significant effect of strategic leadership with its dimensions (strategic direction, human capital development, organizational culture, core capabilities, balanced organizational control) in achieving the competitive advantage for the communications sector of capital Sana'a secretariat.
