The Impact of Organizational Factors on Strategic Planning Practice (A Field Study of Yemeni Private Universities in the Capital, Sana'a)

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the impact of organizational factors in their dimensions (administrative leadership, organizational culture, human resources) on the practice of strategic planning in Yemeni private universities. The study adopted the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool. The study population consisted of more than 50% of Yemeni private universities that were established more than (20) years ago and whose main headquarters is the capital, Sana'a. The study sample consisted of (4) universities selected using a simple random method, from which (159) individuals were selected using a facilitated random method. The study reached several results, the most prominent of which are: the level of effectiveness of organizational factors and the level of strategic planning practice in Yemeni private universities is high. The results also revealed a statistically significant positive impact of organizational factors and their dimensions on the practice of strategic planning in Yemeni private universities, with the most influential being the human resources dimension. The study recommended several recommendations, the most prominent of which are: enhancing the sustainability of the effectiveness of organizational factors (administrative leadership, organizational culture, human resources), and paying attention to the practice of strategic planning in Yemeni private universities due to its importance in improving performance.
