Social responsibility of the school social worker (Sociological analysis)

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the nature of social responsibility and reveal its elements and functions, in addition to identifying the social responsibility of the social worker in the school and revealing the factors that affect the achievement of the social responsibility of the social worker in the school. The study found that the school social worker has multiple responsibilities that begin with his responsibility towards himself, his students, his colleagues, his profession, and the institution in which he works. The study also showed that the social responsibility of the school social worker is achieved through several factors, including factors related to the personality of the social worker himself, such as (experience, education, etc.), And factors related to the institution in which he works, i.e. the school, including (school atmosphere, incentives, management, capabilities and resources... and others). The social responsibility of the school social worker is also carried out through three main aspects: the structural and developmental aspect, the preventive aspect, and the therapeutic aspect.
