Abstract

Summary The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the strategy of differentiated education in developing reading skills in the Arabic language course for students of the scientific departments of the College of Education - Sana'a، relying on the two approaches (descriptive and semi-experimental). Differentiated education، reading skills test، and presenting them to arbitrators in the Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to judge their validity. The field study sample consisted of (41) male and female first-level students in the two departments (mathematics and life sciences) enrolled in the academic year (2021-2022)، representing one experimental group. They were taught reading skills using the differentiated education strategy. The results of the study revealed significant differences. Statistically at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the two applications (pre and post) to test reading skills in favor of the post application، which is attributed to teaching reading skills using the differentiated education strategy، and the researcher recommended the need to use the differentiated education strategy in teaching reading skills because of its effectiveness in Increasing the level of achievement among students.
