Exacerbation of customs smuggling and its effects on the national economy

Abstract
The aim of the research is to know the impact of customs smuggling on the national economy, especially after the impact of the aggression on our homeland. After the war waged by the coalition countries directly affected the economic situation in Yemen, both industrial and commercial, including targeting ports, airports, tankers, etc., in addition to obstructing the flow of international trade to and from the territory of the Republic of Yemen
The descriptive analytical approach was used to delve into the depths of the current study through the preliminary data that we obtained to address the phenomenon, and the most prominent findings of the study are:
Yemen has suffered huge economic losses over the past seven years of war and blockade, which has led to increased poverty, unemployment and acute malnutrition.
Increased unemployment and an economic contraction exceeding 50%, according to official international reports.
