This study aimed to reveal the level of psychosocial Adjustment among blind students in the Sana'a Capital Municipality and its relationship to some demographic and personal variables. The study used the descriptive approach. The study sample included (100) blind students, from the eighth and ninth grades of the basic stage, and the first, second, and third grades of the secondary stage in the capital Municipality- Sana'a who were selected from the study population in a random manner. The study relied on the psychosocial Adjustment scale prepared by the two researchers, which includes two researchers, which includes two dimensions (psychological and social). The study found a (above average) level of psychosocial Adjustment among blind adolescents. The study showed no statistically significant differences in psychosocial Adjustment, attributed to the variables of educational level (primary- secondary), degree of disability(total-partial), time of disability (since birth- after birth), and educational level of the parents. The study made some recommendations in light of its results.      

This study analyzes Yemen's strategic depth by employing Clausewitz's "Wondrous Trinity" as an analytical framework. It argues that Yemen’s resilience during the US-Israeli escalation (2023-2025) stems from three pillars mirroring this trinity: the geopolitical dimension, through the control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait; the military-industrial dimension, marked by rapid locally produced weapons development; and the socio-ideological dimension, rooted in broad public and tribal support. The research concludes that this integrated strategic depth has enabled Yemen to sustain its military operations and absorb external pressure, which resulted in the failure of the American and Israeli escalation.

This study aimed to explore the role of smart leadership in enhancing administrative creativity in private technical education and vocational training colleges, and to examine the differences in their practice according to academic qualification and job title. The study employed the descriptive-analytical method, using a questionnaire administered to a sample of (400) participants comprising academic leaders and faculty members in technical education and vocational training colleges in Sana’a City and Amran Governorate. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between smart leadership and administrative creativity, with a path coefficient of (β = 1.04), indicating a strong influence of smart leadership on administrative creativity. Moreover, statistically significant differences were found according to job title in the dimensions of smart leadership (emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and mental intelligence) and in the overall score, in favor of “department director.” Similarly, significant differences were observed in the sensitivity dimension and the overall score of administrative creativity, also in favor of “department director.” In contrast, no statistically significant differences were attributed to academic qualification. In light of these results, the study recommended the adoption of training programs to develop smart leadership skills among academic leaders and to foster a supportive and motivating work environment for administrative creativity in private technical education and vocational training colleges.

The study aimed to construct and calibrate an item bank for the Educational Measurement and Evaluation course based on the one-parameter item response theory model (1PL). The study sample consisted of 119 third-year students from the Faculty of Education – Sana’a University, representing 37% of the total study population. The research instrument was an item bank covering the first three units of the textbook assigned to third-year students. Scientific procedures were followed in building the item bank, which comprised 112 multiple-choice items distributed across three test forms (A, B, and C). Each test form included 44 items, with 10 common anchor items shared among the three forms. The Bilog-MG3 software was used to verify the fit of the item bank data to the one-parameter model, calibrate the items based on their difficulty levels, and estimate the parameters of item difficulty, individual abilities, test information function, empirical reliability coefficients, and the reliability index. Additionally, SPSS software was used to test the assumption of unidimensionality. Among the most prominent findings: after verifying the assumptions of unidimensionality, local independence, and speededness, it was found that no items were excluded by the Bilog-MG3 program under the one-parameter model. However, based on the chi-square goodness-of-fit test, 16 items were excluded for not fitting the model. No participants were excluded from the three test forms. The item bank was successfully calibrated according to the one-parameter model, with a mean difficulty parameter of 0.65, a standard deviation of 0.907, and item difficulties ranging from -1.93 to 2.27, corresponding to ability estimates ranging from -2.20 to 3.37.

This study aimed to investigate the accounting disclosure of forward-looking information through integrated reports. It also sought to clarify the extent of disclosure of this information in Yemeni commercial banks and its impact on their financial and operational performance. A representative sample of (9) commercial banks from the Yemeni banking sector was selected, and the annual reports issued by these banks were analyzed for the period from 2015 to 2022. To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive-analytical approach was used.

The study concluded with several key findings, including: The existence of an impact of accounting disclosure of forward-looking information through integrated reports on enhancing the financial performance of commercial banks in Yemen, and no impact on operational performance. The lack of full and transparent disclosure of future financial and non-financial information or future risks facing the banking sector in Yemen.

The study recommended the importance of establishing a framework and guiding principles in the Republic of Yemen for banks regarding the accounting disclosure of forward-looking information, in accordance with the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) guidelines. It is also recommended that commercial banks should develop and disclose future plans to achieve their objectives and confront risks. Additionally, the study recommended training and qualifying bank employees to help them move towards the gradual application of integrated reporting requirements.

The study aims to examine the role of Arab and Western powers in enabling the Jews to establish themselves in Palestine, focusing on the period preceding the Nakba and the declaration of the Israeli state. The research analyzes the main actors and the impact of their policies on the developments in the region, highlighting the Arab shift toward the West and the overt Western ambitions regarding Palestine. The study relies on the historical descriptive and analytical approach to examine official documents, correspondence, and personal memoirs of political leaders, in addition to a comparative method to identify similarities and differences between Western and Arab positions. The results indicate that the Arab and Western roles, represented by Arab kings and princes and Western governments, were jointly influential in shaping the course of events, with some Arab monarchs and princes involved in undermining Palestinian revolutionary movements, reflecting a conflict of interests with popular aspirations, especially during the 1936 Palestinian revolt and the 1948 war. The study confirms that failure was not due to a lack of popular will but to conflicting political agendas. It concludes that there is a need to reconsider the selection of political leadership and understand the reasons behind enabling the occupation to strengthen national and collective unity in facing ongoing threats.

This study aimed  to know the reality of the application of governance in the Public Education Schools in the Republic of Yemen.  ,  to achieve this, The researcher used the descriptive approach , and sample deliberately, and the analytical and extrapolative descriptive approach. The researcher adopted the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data and information. The tool consisted of (104) items distributed to nine areas: ( Strategic Vision , Transparency, Accountability, Powerment , Community participation, Combating corruption , Decentralization, Justice and  Law of rule).

  The researcher used statistical methods to analyze the data using the SPSS program for social sciences, such as arithmetic means, standard deviations and alpha cronbach .

The research revealed the following result:

-The  degree of the application of governance in the Public Education schools in the Republic of  Yemen  was  weak (2.06) and the research concluded with series of recommendations and proposals as Issuing the Ministry of Education the rules of applying the governance in the Public Education schools in the Republic of Yemen and suggested preparing a proposal to spread the cultural of governance in the Public Education schools in the Republic of Yemen.

In this study, we introduce and develop a new flexible distribution called the Transmuted Marshall-Olkin Power distribution the work not only presents the new distribution but also comprehensively derives its mathematical and structural properties, including moments, the moment generating function, the characteristic function, quantile function and order statistics.

The problem of estimating the distribution parameters was addressed by comparing the performance of two different estimation methods: the maximum likelihood method and the least square method. For an objective comparison between these methods, we relied on an extensive simulation study using the criteria of Bias and Mean Square Error as key measures of accuracy and efficiency.

The simulation results demonstrated conclusively that the least square method performed best and was the most efficient for estimating the parameters of the proposed distribution compared to the other.

The efficiency, importance and flexibility of the Transmuted Marshall-Olkin Power distribution were demonstrated through applications to real dataset. Several goodness-of-fit statistics were employed, including the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), Corrected Akaike Information Criterion(AICC) and Consistent Akaike Information Criterion (CAIC), In addition to the log-likelihood function evaluated at the maximum likelihood estimates (-2l ̂) . the comparative analysis revealed that the proposed TMOP distribution consistently achieved lower information criteria value than the competing models, confirming its superior fitting capability, robustness and flexibility. Therefore, the TMOP distribution can be considered a promising alternative for modeling a wide variety of real-world data.

  This study examines the positions of Yemeni political parties during the crisis from 2011 to 2014, beginning with the Gulf Initiative, moving through the National Dialogue Conference, and concluding with the Peace and Partnership Agreement. The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach to assess the role of parties in managing the transitional process and to identify challenges between theoretical consensus and practical divisions. The findings reveal that weak party performance, internal fragmentation, narrow interests, and regional interventions undermined the political settlement and facilitated the rise of the Houthis as a non-traditional armed force that reshaped the political landscape. The study concludes that the failure of political parties to safeguard the transitional process eroded the legitimacy of both the Gulf Initiative and the Dialogue outcomes, ultimately leading to the collapse of the Peace and Partnership Agreement. Resolving the Yemeni crisis requires rebuilding parties on democratic, national, and independent foundations.

The study aims to clarify the legal framework for challenging null procedural actions, whether they occur during the course of litigation or take the form of judicial rulings. The researcher employed a comparative analytical methodology, drawing on legal texts, jurisprudential opinions, and established judicial precedents, particularly the rulings of the Yemeni Supreme Court and the Egyptian Court of Cassation.

The study concludes that the plea of nullity is a fundamental means to challenge any procedural action that lacks its essential elements, rendering it void ab initio. It clarifies that this plea, being a matter of public order, can be invoked at any stage of the proceedings and before all levels of the judiciary, including the execution judge and the Supreme Court. The study also outlines the methods for challenging a null judgment, whether through an interlocutory plea, a principal action for nullity, or by disregarding it and asserting its lack of res judicata in another lawsuit. In its conclusion, the study presents a set of recommendations for the Yemeni legislator, most notably the amendment of certain provisions of the Civil Procedure Law, specifically Article (57), to regulate the procedures for adjudicating the plea of nullity more clearly and effectively, thereby ensuring justice and preventing delays in the enforcement of judicial rulings.

This study aimed to explore the direct impact of narcissism leadership and it’s authoritarian on job anxiety and indirect through break and violation of psychological contract & job procrastination as mediators variables, and organizational dehumanization & job envy as moderators variables. The key findings revealed that the level of narcissism leadership, authoritarian leadership, break and violation of psychological contract, job procrastination, organizational dehumanization & job envy were high, with mean scores of (4.05), (3.59), (3.98), (3.68), (3.84), (3.91), and (3.82), respectively. Additionally, there was a direct effect of narcissism leadership and it’s authoritarian on job anxiety, with determination coefficient of (0.150), and (0.221), respectively, the break and violation of psychological contract & job procrastination mediates the relationship between narcissism leadership and it’s authoritarian & job anxiety with an indirect effect of (0.193) and (0.346), respectively, and organizational dehumanization & job envy moderates the relationship between narcissism leadership and it’s authoritarian & job anxiety, with a change in the determination coefficient of (0.142), and (0.174), respectively. The study recommends focusing on reduce negative behaviors at workplace, which play a crucial in decrease feeling of job anxiety within the Group.

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of Takaful insurance practices, with its developmental, legislative, and governance dimensions, on achieving sustainable development in its economic, social, environmental, and cultural dimensions in Yemeni insurance companies.

The study adopted a quantitative, descriptive, and analytical approach. A robust questionnaire consisting of (38) items was administered to a purposive sample comprising all employees at the main headquarters of (9) Yemeni Takaful insurance companies in the capital, Sana'a. The sample size was (220) individuals. Data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistical methods (simple and multiple regression analysis).

The results showed a statistically significant positive impact of Takaful insurance on sustainable development, explaining 40.8% of the variance in the dependent variable. The governance (β=0.539) and development (β=0.386) dimensions had the greatest positive impact. In contrast, the legislative dimension showed a statistically significant negative effect (β = -0.166), attributed to the absence of a specific law regulating Takaful insurance activities and appropriate to its nature. The results also revealed disparities in the level of practice, with both dimensions (legislative and governance) recording a relatively high level, while the development dimension was the weakest.

Based on the study's findings, it recommended a set of outcomes, the most important of which are: issuing a law specific to Takaful insurance and strengthening the governance and developmental role of insurance companies.

This study addressed The Islamic Vision of International Relations: Between Legislative Sources and Historical Evolution, the problem of the study was to identify the nature of international relations governing Muslims with other societies, the development of contemporary international relations under Western powers, and the perspective of Zaidi political thought. The study aimed to address the sources of international relations in Islam, identify the development of international relations from a modern and contemporary Western perspective, and reveal the perspective of Zaidi political thought on international relations. The study used the historical method to trace the historical relations between Muslims and others. It also used the descriptive-analytical method to describe and analyze the phenomenon of the Islamic perspective on international relations. The study was divided into four sections: the first addressed the basic principles of international relations in Islam; the second discussed the historical development of Islamic international relations; the third focused on the development of contemporary international relations; and the fourth; view of Zaidi political thought on international relations. The study reached several conclusions. the reliance of international relations in Islam on the sources of the Holy Qur'an, the authentic Sunnah, consensus, Western dominance of the world emerged in the mid-seventeenth century and has continued to the present day. Zaidi political thought is based on a set of established religious principles in international relations theory.

The study aimed to identify the Role of Organizational Agility in Achieving Institutional Excellence (A Field Study in the Social Fund for Development in Yemen). To achieve the study objectives, the researchers relied on the quantitative approach with its descriptive analytical and correlational style, and Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to Purposive stratified random sample consisting of (232) individuals from the employees of the Social Fund for Development. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The reality of applying organizational agility in the Social Fund for Development was high in all its dimensions except for the dimension of decision-making agility with a medium verbal meaning. The level of institutional excellence in the Social Fund for Development in all its dimensions was generally medium. It also concluded that there is no correlation between organizational agility and its dimensions (sensing agility, decision-making agility, and practice agility) in achieving institutional excellence in the Social Fund for Development in Yemen, and also, that the study hypothesis is not accepted. Based on these findings, the researchers reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: conduct further studies and research on the relationship between organizational agility and institutional excellence in the Social Fund for Development in Yemen, and study dimensions other than those studied in the current study.

  This study aimed to identify the extent of Yemeni judicial supervision of the cause of the administrative decision، specifically in terms of verifying that this cause is based on existing material facts، ensuring the correctness of the legal characterization of those facts and whether these facts are appropriate to the administrative decision. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and revealed several findings، the most important of which was that the Yemeni judiciary extends its supervision to verify the existence of the cause in the administrative decision، both in terms of the existence of the facts and the correctness of the legal characterization of the facts، in cases of discretionary or restricted administrative authority. However، this supervision does not extend to the appropriateness of the decision to the facts، although it has implicitly exercised supervision of the appropriateness of the decision in some cases without acknowledging that this supervision is focused on the appropriateness of the facts to the decision. The study also reached several recommendations، the most prominent of which was that the Yemeni judiciary should extend its supervision to the appropriateness of the facts to the decision if the appropriateness necessitates the legality of the administrative decision، so that its supervision is not limited to the traditional supervision of the cause for the administrative decision.

This study aimed to identify the role of strategic management, with its dimensions (strategic analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation), in achieving a competitive advantage in the telecommunications sector in the Republic of Yemen and in mobile phone companies operating in Yemen. The study's problem was represented by the main question: What is the role of strategic management in achieving a competitive advantage for mobile phone companies in the Republic of Yemen? The study's hypotheses were as follows: There is a statistically significant role for strategic management in achieving a competitive advantage for mobile phone companies in Yemen. It is also essential to strive to achieve a competitive advantage in mobile phone companies in Yemen by all possible means.

The study used descriptive and inferential statistics. The study relied on the intended sample, which is the leaders of the four mobile phone companies in Yemen, numbering (241) leaders, from the study population, which is the employees of the mobile phone companies, numbering (2457) male and female employees. A questionnaire consisting of 77 paragraphs was designed to collect data, where 241 questionnaires were distributed, with a response rate of (67%). To analyze the data and test the hypotheses, the inferential statistical method was used through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The study concluded that strategic management plays a role in achieving competitive advantage in mobile phone companies in the telecommunications sector in Yemen.

This study lies on descriptive analytical approach and follows the stages of economic development life, the study concluded that there is a wealthy material which discovered excavation and archaeological cemeteries, in addition to, the consistency of some of economic growth methods with the civilization of ancient Yemenis.

The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of a proposed program (Designing an Adaptive Learning Environment) based on artificial intelligence applications in developing decision-making skills among the Biology Department students, Faculty of Education, Sana'a University. A list of decision-making skills, was developed: problem identification skills, information gathering skills, alternative identification skills, selection of the best alternatives skills, as well as decision evaluation follow-up skills. Based on this list, a scale was developed to measure the aforementioned decision-making skills among Biology Department students within the preparation programs and courses available at the Faculty of Education.

     Accordingly, the research designed a proposed program (Designing an Adaptive Learning Environment) based on artificial intelligence applications. The program included five training modules. The research was implemented using a quasi-experimental approach with a single group and it lasted five weeks. The research sample consisted of (32) female students. The effectiveness of the program was measured by applying the scale to the research sample. The no results revealed statistically significant differences between the mean scores on the decision-making scale in favor of the post-application.

     The research concluded with a recommendation to apply this program to biology department students in faculties of education in the Republic of Yemen, and it should be included in preparation programs and courses, to ensure the development of decision-making skills.

This research aims to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications on administrative decision-making, focusing on the necessity of striking a balance between enhancing administrative efficiency—achieved through data analysis and increased decision accuracy —and maintaining strict legal compliance. The study indicates that this transition encounters significant legal and ethical challenges, such as data bias and the lack of clear legal accountability. The findings demonstrate a clear deficiency (or gap) in the Arab legislation regulating this technology, which necessitates the development of a legal framework that defines transparency requirements, including partial algorithmic disclosure and the granting of the right to explanation. The research also highlights the importance of expanding administrative and judicial oversight (or review) over decisions made by automated systems, noting that comparative judicial applications (such as decisions of the French Council of State) support the necessity of such oversight as a final guarantee of legality. The study concludes that the success of smart administration requires establishing a comprehensive legal framework that ensures accountability and preserves the role of human supervision (or human control) as a safeguard for justice in administrative decision-making.

This study aimed to identify the level of innovative leadership practice among education office directors in the districts of the Sana'a Capital Governorate and its relationship to organizational effectiveness. To achieve this aim, the descriptive-analytical method was used, and a questionnaire was used to collect data. The study sample consisted of 149 employees.

The study concluded that:

• The level of innovative leadership practice had a mean score of 3.06 and a standard deviation of 0.951, indicating a moderate level. Statistically significant differences were found at the 0.05 level, attributed to the gender variable, favoring males.
• The level of organizational effectiveness practice had a mean score of 3.08 and a standard deviation of 0.822, indicating a moderate level. Statistically significant differences were found at the 0.05 level of significance, attributed to the gender variable, on the overall organizational effectiveness axis and in the area of ​​coherence and development. These differences favored males. Statistically significant differences were also found attributable to the years of experience variable on the overall axis and in the area of ​​agreement and harmony, with those having less than 5 years of experience demonstrating higher levels of organizational effectiveness.

The study concluded with the following:

- The necessity of conducting training courses for administrative leaders on innovative leadership as a contemporary approach that helps increase organizational effectiveness, leading to creativity and innovation

This study investigates the dominant juristic opinion on selling an unseen item without description in light of the buyer’s right of rescission upon viewing. It critically examines the hadith “Whoever purchases something he has not seen …” through descriptive-inductive, comparative, and analytical methods, drawing on sources from hadith and fiqh.

The research compares the hadith with supporting mawqūf reports, conflicting Prophetic traditions, and the evaluations of hadith critics, alongside the juristic opinions for and against the ruling derived from the hadith.

The study concludes that such a sale does not constitute prohibited gharar, as the item can be delivered and the right of rescission prevents disputes and harm to the buyer. It recommends further focused study of hadiths related to contemporary social, political, and economic juristic issues to provide sound Sharīʿah-based solutions.

This study investigates the impact of Grammar Translation Method (GTM) and the Direct Method (DM) on the development of reading skills of the first-year medical students at 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a. A total of 120 students enrolled in an English for Medical Purposes (EMP) course were selected through a random sampling technique and divided into three groups, each consisting of 40 participants. The first and second groups are assigned to Direct Method and Grammar Translation Method respectively, and the third (i.e., the control group) to Lecture Method (LM).

The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-tests over a two-month intervention period. Data were collected through tests and semi-structured interviews. Test results were analyzed quantitively using SPSS and interview data were analyzed qualitatively to capture teachers’ perspectives. Findings from both quantitative and qualitative analyses indicated that Grammar Translation Method and Direct Method were more effective than Lecture Method in enhancing reading skills. These gains were evident in key reading domains, including comprehension, vocabulary, and grammatical accuracy. The study recommends further longitudinal research into varied instructional methods to assess their long-term effects on medical students’ reading proficiency and to inform EMP curriculum development

The general principle is that the Public Prosecution is competent to initiate, file, and pursue criminal cases. However, we find that the legislator sometimes, as an exception to this general principle, restricts the authority of the Public Prosecution to initiate and file criminal cases in certain offenses by requiring a complaint to be submitted by the victim or their legal representative, so that the Public Prosecution cannot take any measures to initiate or proceed with the criminal case except after the victim has filed a complaint.

 Furthermore, the victim or their representative in complaint-based offenses is granted the right to withdraw the complaint they have submitted if they believe that their interest as a victim might conflict with proceeding with the case.

the reason the legislator departs from the rule is their view that in these crimes, the private interest outweighs the public interest; therefore, the assessment of whether to prosecute is left to the victim. The Public Prosecution cannot act unless the victim files a complaint about the crime, at which point the restriction is lifted and the Public Prosecution regains its discretion to initiate and pursue the case. If the victim decides not to file a complaint for any reason, the criminal case will lapse after a certain period.
