A linear analysis was performed to investigate the basic properties of waves propagating in different directions in magnetized quantam plasma consisting of classical warm ions and relativistic degenerate electrons. We employ a quantum magnetohydrodynamic approach considering quantum corrections, spin effects in addition to relativity, and a polytropic index to obtain a generalized dispersion relation of the regarded plasma system. The considered system supports three types of magnetohydrodynamic waves: Alfven, fast, and slow magnetosonic waves. The obtained modified Alfven and magnetosonic dispersion relations are affected by the obliqueness factor, spin magnetization, and plasma beta .The fast and slow modes were also altered owing to the Bohm potential and relativistic degenerate pressure impacts. Examination of the influences of these parameters revealed a significant modification of the phase velocity features of the magnetohydrodynamic waves. The results obtained may be applicable to relativistic magnetized quantum plasmas in astrophysical environments.

In 2016, an off-grid PV system (14.64 KW) of (48) multicrystalline silicon (mc-Si) modules were installed on the roof of the Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO) in Sana’a – Yemen. In this work, thirty-eight modules from this system were selected for studying the performance degradation after 8.65 years of operation. Degradation analysis of the selected modules was done using visual inspection and current–voltage (I-V) characterization techniques. Results show that the degradation rates in Pmax of the modules under study, over the outdoor exposure period (8.65 years), were found to be between 2.44% and 7.99% with mean of 5.42% and median of 5.24%. By comparing the annual degradation rates with the industry linear warranty based on nominal power of this module, out of the 38 PV modules studied, only 2 modules have been degraded more than 0.7%/year, which implies that these two modules are likely to fail before 25 years in operation under outdoor conditions of Sana’a, Yemen. The remaining 36 PV modules degraded less than 0.7%/year, which are likely to operate reliably for 25 years under outdoor conditions of Sana’a, Yemen. The analysis of electrical performance indicated that the Pmax reduction of the studied modules are mainly related to the losses in the ISC and Imp. Losses in Imp can be ascribed to the decreases of the shunt resistance (Rsh). On the other hand, the reduction in ISC of the modules under study can be correlated to the encapsulation discoloration. The most noticeable visual defect in the studied modules was a discoloring of EVA encapsulant. The encapsulant discoloration reduced the incident photons that reach the solar cells and thus, decreased the ISC and output power (Pmax) of the modules. Corrosion of the metallisation was also observed in some modules. This defect can lead to reducing the FF of the modules

Aluminum alloys are important in many industrial applications because of their light weight and good mechanical properties. In this study, the effect of copper addition with different percentages ( 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3wt. %) on the microstructure and mechanical strength of Al-Si alloy were studied using X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Vickers hardness (Hv) tests. XRD and SEM analyses showed that the Al-Si alloy consisted of α-Al and Si phases. The intermetallic compound (IMC) CuAl2 was detected with the addition of Cu. This IMC causes a change in the lattice constant and inter-atomic spacing (dhkl). The distortion and dense of the microstructure are considered indications of the enhancement in the hardness of alloys. The Vickers hardness (Hv) was measured for the samples before and after sintering. The highest value was 28.755 Hv with 0.2wt. % Cu after sintering, whereas the smallest value was 11.643 Hv without Cu content before sintering. This improvement in hardness is attributed to the temperature that promotes the diffusion of Cu atoms into theAl lattices.

Effect of CuAl2 on the Microstructure and Hardness of Al-Si-xCu Alloys Produced by Powder Metallurgy
The Burke-Shaw model (BSM), which is grounded in the Lorenz system, is essential in various areas of physics and engineering. In this paper, we investigate the application of a fractional derivative with a Mittag Leffler (M-L) type kernel to address the existence, uniqueness, and Hyers-Ulam stability (HUS) of solutions for the fractional-order BSM. We utilize the ABC-fractional derivative, developed by Atangana and Baleanu, as it offers a more adaptable approach suitable for a diverse array of real-world applications. To demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of solutions, as well as HUS, we introduce a set of necessary conditions that ensure the results presented in this study.

Existence, Uniqueness, and Stability Analysis of the Fractional-Order Burke-Shaw Model with ABC-Fractional Derivative
Theoretically, this study investigates the influence of Gaussian beam spot size on the trapping forces exerted on dielectric particles by continuous and pulsed beams. We analyzed the dependence of trapping efficiency on spot size in terms of both the force value and force influence area. Our theoretical framework considers a dielectric sphere immersed in a water medium and irradiated by these beams. The results demonstrated that pulsed Gaussian beam achieves superior and more consistent trapping efficiency compared to continuous beam for a wider range of spot sizes.

Based on the mathematical framework of the partially coherent Gaussian Schell model vortex (PCGSMV) beam and the Huygens-Fresnel integral, we conducted a study to analyze the intensity distribution and depth of focus (DOF) of the PCGSMV beam as it propagates through a classical axicon. Our numerical results indicate the influence of factors such as the beam width, spatial degree of coherence, topological charge, and axicon base angle on the intensity distribution and DOF. In addition, we investigated the relationship between the beam spot size and propagation distance, as well as the effects of the spatial degree of coherence and propagation distance on the intensity profile. Our findings highlight the importance of the intensity values along the DOF for various applications, including the optical trapping and manipulation of micro particles.

The microstructure of AS10/xNi hypoeutectic alloys with (x = 0.01% and 0.05%) was investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Localized permanent plastic deformation (Vickers hardness (HV)) was conducted on the samples before and after sintering. After sintering, the results showed a significant improvement in hardness with the addition of Ni atoms. From the XRD map, it was found that there was a shift in the peak positions as the Ni atoms were added. This shift is a result of the incoincidence of dhkl levels in the Al-phase before and after the addition of Ni. This mismatch in dhkl levels is associated with the lattice defects and lattice parameters. From the SEM images, the silicon powder particles in the binary composition are large and elongated plates, whereas those in the ternary composition are small and semi-spherical particles. This reduction in the particle size of the modified alloy is attributed to the presence of Ni atoms in the alloys.

Measurement of Radioactivity in Common Powered Milk Consumed in Sana’a, Yemen and Estimation of the Associated Annual Effective Dose
This study aims to measure heavy metals (HMs) concentration and radioactivity concentration levels in fertilizer and pesticide samples collected from local markets in Sana’a, Yemen. Gamma spectroscopy employing a Survey Sodium Iodide NaI (TI) RIIDEYM-G detector was used for radiation and dose assessments. As for heavy metal analyses, this study used Inductively Coupled Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). Thirty samples were collected from local markets in Sana’a, Yemen. Radioactivity measurements show low levels of radioactivity concentration. The average dose rates due to fertilizer and pesticide samples were 1.14 and 1.07 mSv/y, respectively. These values are nearly equal to the recommended annual radiation dose rate limit (1mSv/y) recommended by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP). For heavy metal analysis, it was found that the average concentrations of heavy metals (HMs) (cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb), and zinc (Zn)) in the fertilizer samples were 1.08 mg/kg, 4.944 mg/kg, 13.8495 mg/kg, 274.371 mg/kg, 3.30446 mg/kg, 15.35686 mg/kg, and 24.4547 mg/kg, respectively. Heavy metal concentrations in fertilizer samples were mainly less than European (EU) guideline limits, with the exception of a few samples. The average concentrations of heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, and Zn) in the pesticide samples were 0.8 mg/kg, 0.5784 mg/kg, 52.280 mg/kg, 73.4651 mg/kg, 2.4482 mg/kg, 3.199 mg/kg, and 1.1309 mg/kg, respectively. The heavy metal concentrations in pesticide samples were less than the corresponding values in fertilizer samples.

This study investigates the morphology and optical properties of prepared α-Al2O3:Zn nanoparticles by sol-gel method at room temperature. TEM image revealed hexagonal structure and the average particle size in the range (9.52-15.94 nm), and showed the particles distribution and area by histograms distribution. The Selected Area Electron Diffraction (SAED) illustrated the polycrystalline structure. XRD analysis confirmed hexagonal structure with a high crystalline and polycrystalline structure of α-Al2O3:Zn nanoparticles, the average crystallite size in the range (30.529- 24.057 nm). The optical study found that the energy gab of prepared α-Al2O3:Zn (0%, 2%, 4%, 8%) were (5.145, 4.86, 4.88, 4.95 eV), respectively. Furthermore, other optical parameters such as refractive index, extinction coefficient, and dielectric constant are studied.

The study focused on examining the characteristics of partially coherent Lorentz-Gauss vortex beams in a medium featuring a gradient refractive index. The study employed the ABCD matrix, deriving analytical expressions for the cross-spectral density function based on the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle and the relationship between the Hermitian Gaussian function and Lorentz distribution. The findings revealed that the topological charge, coherence length, and gradient refractive index coefficient are pivotal factors influencing the beam’s behaviour in the medium. An increase in topological charge led to an expansion of the dark spot in intensity, while the gradient refractive index plays a crucial role in altering the size and shape of the intensity periodically in the medium and does not affect the dark spot in the middle of the beam. The findings from this study hold potential for applications in remote sensing and optical communications, making them valuable for further research endeavors.

This document provides a detailed, point-by-point response to the Technical Note submitted on August 3, 2026, concerning my paper "Quantum Fundamental Speed Theory: Mathematical Derivations of Dark Matter and Dark Energy from the Speed Field" (DOI: 10.59628/jast.v4i7.3446). The Technical Note raises four main criticisms regarding (1) the linearization used to derive the screening length, (2) the Taylor expansion of the logarithmic potential, (3) the units used in the dark-energy density calculation, and (4) the interpretation of ultralight dark-matter bounds. I demonstrate that three of these criticisms are based on misunderstandings of the physical context or on algebraic/unit errors in the Technical Note itself. One criticism—concerning the Taylor expansion of the logarithmic potential—is acknowledged as correct analytically, but it does not affect the final numerical results, which are obtained from a full numerical solution of the coupled background system. I provide detailed derivations, dimensional analyses, and references to the existing literature to support my responses

We present a complete spectral analysis of the Schrödinger operator
O0 = − d2/dx2 + μ(μ + 1)/x2 + ω2 x2
on the half-line L2(0, ∞), perturbed by two unbounded terms: a fractional power Oσ0 with 0 < σ < 1, and a logarithmic term γ log x. We first prove the complete spectral analysis of O0 via reduction to Laguerre’s equation, and establish that the minimal, maximal, and Friedrichs operators coincide (the limit-point property at both endpoints). We then prove relative boundedness of both perturbations with relative bound zero, and apply the Kato–Rellich theorem to obtain self-adjointness of the full operator, with purely discrete spectrum.
We provide an explicit closed-form formula for the logarithmic matrix elements Vlogmn = ⟨ψm, log x ψn⟩ in terms of the digamma function, prove a uniform bound |Vlogn,n+r | ≤ 1/(2|r|), and derive the complete second-order expansion of the eigenvalues, which includes both a logarithmic term −α(log n + γE − log 2)/(16ωH∗n (n + 1)2) with αμ + 1/2 and an algebraic term −λπ2σ(1 − σ)(4ωn)σ−2/(24H2n).
Next we develop a fixed-point formulation on the weighted Banach space Z′ 2, where we prove contraction of the operator Bn(F) with constant 0.032, and obtain an exact implicit equation
En = en + γVlognn + Fn, Fn = Φn(Fn), with Lip(Φn) ≤ 2.95 × 10−6 and |Fn| ≤ 1.26 × 10−5ω. We further establish: (i) analyticity of En(λ, γ) in a neighborhood of (0, 0) with radius ρ = min(Λgap/2, ω/175); (ii) a rigorous second-order expansion with both algebraic and logarithmic corrections; (iii) generalization of the composite gap to all σ ∈ (0, 1).
All constants are explicit and numerically usable. The case n = 0 is treated separately due to the index constraint s ≥ 1.

Rigorous Spectral Analysis of a Schrödinger Operator with Fractional and Logarithmic Perturbations: Fixed-Point Formulation and Explicit Constants
The dust-acoustic (DA) solitary waves and double layers structures of the dust-acoustic waves (DAWs) have been investigated in the framework of Gardner approach, in a non-ideal dusty plasma system consisting of electrons, ions and negatively charged dust grains. The non-ideal effects are examined by incorporating the van der Waals (VDW) equation of state for the dust grains. Using reductive perturbation technique, the Gardner's equation is derived. The effects of the non-ideal parameters on the profiles of solitary wave and double layer structures are discussed in some detail. It is found that the amplitude and width of both solitary waves and double layers are significantly modified by the non-ideal parameters. Also, it is shown that the wave phase velocity undergoes a significant change due to the presence of non-ideal effects in the system.

The study presents a comprehensive evaluation of optimal locations for solar energy facilities in Yemen by com-
bining Geographic Information System (GIS) technology with Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methodolo-
gies. It identifies twelve crucial criteria, assigning weights through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and
subsequently validating them using the Best-Worst Method (BWM). A weighted overlay analysis conducted in
GIS resulted in a national suitability map, indicating that the eastern, southern, and northern regions of Yemen are
particularly well-suited for solar energy development. The findings reveal that 30.84% of the country is classified
as highly suitable, while 69.16% is moderately suitable, and merely 0.0022% is deemed less suitable for solar
installations. The sensitivity analysis highlights the significant influence of weighting the criteria, as even slight modifications to factors such as Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI) and slope can lead to substantial changes in suitability assessments. Overall, the integration of AHP, BWM, and GIS is shown to create a robust framework for solar site selection, providing practical guidance for policymakers and energy planners in Yemen.

Synthesis and Characterization of (CdO- CuOCo3O4) Mixed Metal Oxides Nanocomposite
A two-dimensional Zakharov Kuznetsov (ZK) equation was derived for ion-acoustic (IA) solitons in magnetoplasmas with relativistic streaming warm ions, superthermal electrons and positrons, and stationary heavy ions (either positive or negative). The transverse instability of the IA solitons was investigated using the small- κ perturbation expansion method. The effects of plasma parameters such as the concentration of positive/negative heavy ions, relativistic streaming velocity of ions, superthermality of electrons and positrons, positron concentration, ion temperature, and magnetic field strength on the instability of IA solitons are investigated. These parameters have a significant effect on the instability growth rate. The results also indicate that the solitons tended to be stable in the plasma model containing negatively charged heavy ions. The findings of this work may provide valuable insights into the understanding of astrophysical systems, especially in the context of pulsar magnetospheres, solar wind, and Van Allen radiation belts, where relativistic ions and superthermal electron-positron coexist with heavy ions.

Cadmium sulfide cd1s1−x nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple and cost-effective hydrothermal method by varying the Cd:S molar ratio to investigate its effect on the photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (Rh-B) in aqueous solution under simulated solar irradiation serves as a model organic pollutant. Structural and morphological characterization using XRD, SEM, and UV–Vis spectroscopy confirmed the particularity of cd1s1−x particle with good crystallinity and visible light absorption properties. The photocatalytic efficiency of the cd1s1−x nanoparticles exhibited a strong dependence on the sulfur ion concentration, indicating the critical role of precursor ratio in tuning photocatalyst performance. Among the samples, the one prepared with x= 0.3026 exhibited the highest degradation efficiency, achieving nearly complete removal of Rh-B within 73 minutes. The enhanced photocatalytic performance is attributed to the optimized particle size, which improves crystallinity and surface area, facilitating more efficient charge separation, light absorption, and separation of photogenerated charge carriers. This study highlights the crucial role of precursor composition in tailoring the structural and functional properties of cd1s1−x nanoparticles, providing a straightforward and scalable approach for developing efficient visible-light-responsive photocatalysts for environmental remediation applications.
