Abstract
This study examines the unique grammatical perspectives of Ibn Falah Al-Yamani, a prominent Yemeni grammarian known for his distinctive contributions to Arabic grammar. His views set him apart from other scholars, making him one of the most influential grammarians in Yemen over the centuries.
The research aims to identify and analyze the grammatical theories exclusive to Ibn Falah, explore his methodological approach, and evaluate their impact on linguistic studies. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology to systematically examine his perspectives and their implications.
Structurally, the research is organized into an introduction, which outlines the study’s objectives and scope, followed by a background section that provides an overview of Ibn Falah’s life, works, and key terminologies. The main discussion is divided into four sections: Foundational Grammatical Concepts: Ibn Falah’s unique interpretations of core grammatical principles, Sentence Structure and Syntax: His distinctive views on verbal sentences and grammatical constructions, Sentence Complements: His novel contributions to adjuncts and modifiers, The Role of Particles: His original perspectives on the usage and function of grammatical particles.
The study concludes with a summary of key findings, recommendations for further research
