Abstract

Study title: Marital Adjustment among Female teachers in Al-Hodeidah City in Light of some demographic Variables.

The study aimed to identify marital Adjustment in light of some variables (age - number of years of marriage - years of experience - number of children) among female teachers in the city of Hodeidah. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study sample consisted of (126) female teachers in the city of Hodeidah who were selected in a manner simple random sample, In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers built a measure of marital Adjustment, and the results concluded that there was a moderate level of marital Adjustment among female teachers in the city of Hodeidah, The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of marital Adjustment among female teachers in the city of Hodeidah due to the variables (age - years of experience - years of marriage - number of children). The study recommended raising awareness among community members of the importance of marital Adjustment between husbands, given its impact on the future of children.
