The effectiveness of the listening triangle strategy in developing speaking skills for students of the third cycle of basic education in the Republic of Yemen

Abstract
The study aimed to know the effectiveness of the listening triangle strategy in developing speaking skills for students of the third cycle of basic education in the Republic of Yemen. In speaking skills, in addition to the teacher’s guide for teaching the educational unit, the research sample consisted of (60) female students, from the seventh grade students, who were selected from the schools (Al-Ramah for Girls) and (Al-Yemen Al-Saeed for Girls) in the Directorate of Educational Revolution in the capital Sana’a And they were divided into two groups: (experimental) group and (control) group, where group (A) in (Al-Ramah School for Girls) represents the experimental group, which was taught using the listening triangle strategy, and its number was (30) female students, while group (C) represented The control group in (Yemen Al-Saeed for Girls) school, which was taught in the usual way, numbered (30) students, and the research reached the following results:
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the responses of the experimental and control groups on the test of speaking skills in the post application of the seventh graders of the basic education stage, in favor of the experimental group that studied using the listening triangle strategy.,
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average responses of the experimental group on the test of speaking skills in the pre and post applications of the seventh graders of the basic education stage, in favor of the experimental group that studied using the listening triangle strategy.
The study recommended employing the listening triangle strategy in developing the four language skills, in all grades of basic and secondary education; Because of its positive impact in enabling learners to master language skills
