The Degree of Practicing the Strategic Planning in Faculties of Education at Yemeni Universities in light of Accreditation Standards

Abstract

This study aims to identify the degree of practicing the strategic planning  in faculties of Education at Yemeni universities in light of accreditation standards. The study employed a descriptive approach Departments, and adopted a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study sample consisted of (111) faculty members it was randomly selected accordingly.


The study reached a number of findings, the most significant of which include the following: the degree of practicing strategic planning in faculties of Education, was at a moderate level of agreement. In addition, both sub-standards, which are strategic directions and the strategic plan with its implementation plan, achieved a moderate level of agreement. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) in the mean responses of the study sample regarding the level of strategic planning implementation in faculties of Education at Yemeni universities in light of accreditation standards, attributable to the variables of academic rank and years of experience. However, there were statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of (faculty), faculty Dhamar and faculty Amran  between at the overall strategic planning level and in the sub - standard of the strategic plan and its implementation plan in favor of the faculty of Amran. Also, there were no statistically significant differences in sub-standard  the strategic directions.
