The Effectiveness of a Proposed Study Unit in Social Studies to Develop the Concepts of Preventive Education among the Seventh-Grade Students in Amanat Al Asimah(Sana'a)

Abstract
The study amis to determine the effectiveness of a proposed study unit in social studies to develop the concepts of preventive education among seventh-grade students in Amanat Al-Asimah. To achieve the aim of the study, the semi-experimental approach was used, designed for one group (pre- and post-test), due to its suitability to the nature of this study. The study tool includs a test. It consists of (34) items, and the study sample consists of (90) male and female students, chosen intentionally. The study reaches the following results:
- There are statistically significant differences (at a significance level of 0.05) between the average scores of seventh-grade students in the pre- and post-application of the test of preventive education concepts, in favor of the post-application.
- There are statistically significant differences (at a significance level of 0.05) between the average scores of seventh-grade students in the post-test of preventive education concepts in favor of females.
