Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of Management Information Systems in developing administrative performance at the Social Fund for Development in Yemen. The quantitative approach was adopted with its descriptive and analytical style, and information was collected through a questionnaire distributed to a stratified random sample consisting of (175) individuals from the employees of the Social Fund for Development. Data analysis was based on the use of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS, 27). The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The reality of using of Management information systems at the Social Fund for Development was high in all its dimensions except for the dimension of individual skills with a medium verbal meaning. The level of administrative performance at the Social Fund for Development in all its dimensions was generally medium. It also concluded that there is a statistically significant role of Management information systems in all its dimensions on the administrative performance of the Social Fund for Development - Yemen. Based on these findings, the researcher reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: The Social Fund for Development should continuously evaluate Management Information Systems and work to update them whenever necessary so that they can provide the necessary information at the appropriate time, quantity and speed.
