The demonstrations of Yemen's elite about the Yemeni Cinema Films

Abstract

The study sought to know the current reality of cinema in Yemen as well as to identify the level of Yemeni film elite film in general, and this study is one of the descriptive studies, and the researcher used the approach to survey the public. (200) Single of Yemeni Elite (Learners, Political, Academics, Educators, Directors, Products, Photographers, Representatives), Patios, and Selected Study to a set of results, most important: The presence of a variety of films that prefer to see the elite and came primarily documentaries (24.79%) and romantic films by (13.75%) and then followed by adventure and horror films by (18.5%). - The study pointed out that the most important means for the elite to watch films and most commonly used the television (58.48%) of the study sample and Internet by (15.23%). - The study confirmed that Yemeni elite trends towards cinema in general were positive. - The study was demonstrated that the most important reasons for the Yemeni elite of Yemeni films were in poor promotion of time and place where they were presented in the media. - The study concluded that the most important causes of weak film production in Yemen from the elite point of view was in the absence of support and encouragement by the institutions concerned, as well as the lack of financial and technical support for film production.
