Abstract

The study aimed to understand the nature of the relationship between civil society organizations and small projects، and whether this relationship is positively developmental or not. To achieve this، an analytical descriptive survey methodology was used for the study. A questionnaire was applied to a sample consisting of 90 participants، who were divided among the study's aspects. Out of them، 30 were postgraduate students from the Research and Studies Center for Social Gender and Development at Sana'a University in the capital's Secretariat، who work in civil society organizations that finance small projects. In addition to this، 60 participants were small business owners from various markets in the Seventy Directorate of the capital's secretariat. The study concluded with several findings، the most important of which is that civil society organizations have a developmental، improving، and positive relationship with small projects in terms of health، human، educational and income levels. However، they have a non-developmental and retrogressive relationship from the economic and social aspect due to the general economic weakness. The study recommends the need to study the amount of financing compared to the small project، qualifying project owners، providing facilitation، and removing obstacles in front of loan seekers from small and micro project owners.
