Abstract

The study aimed to measure the forms of news bias in covering the partisan websites for the Yemeni crisis. The study used the analytical survey method to analyze the websites of Al Motamar Net, the speaker of the General People's Congress Party, and the Al Sahwa Net Website of the Yemeni Islah Party.  analyzed (311) articles were analyzed from both websites, during October, 2022. The study results showed that (%50.8) of the news coverage of the Yemeni crisis in the study websites focused on the issue of the continuation of the field conflict, (%33.2) covered the issue of suffering and damage resulting from the war, and (%15.9) addressed the issue of armistice and peace in Yemen. (%92.6) of the coverage of the study websites for the Yemeni crisis was characterized by the bias towards one of the parties in the conflict. The percentages of using these websites for all forms of bias (coverage bias - source bias - language bias - visual bias) increased confirming that the bias was systematic and intended by these websites.
