The portrayal of the Tihami character in Yemeni drama an analytical study
The study aimed to examine the extent of the presence of the Tihami character in Yemeni drama and to identify his/her image as presented by that drama. It also attempted to answer a number of questions، the most notably of which are the demographic characteristics of the Tihami character as presented by the Yemeni drama، the most prominent issues of concern to the Tihami community، and the characteristics of the Tihami personality as presented by the Yemeni drama. The study concluded with a number of results، including that social issues were most prominent in the drama that dealt with Tihama، that the majority of Tihama society lives in public housing (Tents belt of mud and palm trees)، as presented by the sample series، that the most significant characteristic of the Tihama character was simplicity and humility
