Factors Influencing Research Productivity among Faculty Membersat Sana'a University
The study aimed to identify the factors influencing the research productivity of faculty members at Sana'a University. The study used a descriptive-survey methodology, with a sample consisting of 108 faculty members from various applied and theoretical faculty. A survey developed by the researcher was applied to them, which consists of, 24 items distributed across 3 domains (Institutional, Financial, Personal), The data was statistically analyzed using the Descriptive statistical methods (means and standard deviations), the Two Independent Samples t-Test, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Scheffé’s post-hoc test. The results indicated that There are significant differences in research productivity attributable to the variables of gender and academic rank, No significant differences were found attributable to the age variable, There are no significant differences in individual research productivity attributable to specialization, whereas significant differences were found in favor of applied specializations regarding to collaborative research productivity. The findings also highlighted that financial factors significantly influence research productivity.
