Contributions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Yemen to supporting reconstruction requirements
The study aimed to examine the contributions of the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting the requirements of reconstruction. The research population consisted of (931) employees, while the study sample comprised 272 employees. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology and utilized a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The findings revealed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plays a significant role in supporting reconstruction requirements. The study recommended strengthening the contributions of governmental institutions through the development and activation of decision-making processes, with particular emphasis on strategic orientation as a key dimension of governmental performance—especially for the Government of Change and Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting reconstruction. Furthermore, the study called for intensified planning efforts for reconstruction, underscoring the importance of positioning reconstruction as a central pillar in national strategies, establishing a national model to support reconstruction, and ensuring continuous monitoring and evaluation of reconstruction projects to guarantee their effectiveness.
