The Impact of Strategic Thinking on Service Quality in Yemeni Mobile Telecommunications Companies
This study aimed to examine the impact of strategic thinking on service quality in Yemeni mobile phone companies. The study adopted a descriptive, analytical, causal methodology. Data were collected via a questionnaire designed according to a seven-point Likert scale and distributed to a proportional stratified random sample of 388 administrative employees from three Yemeni telecommunications companies (Yemen Mobile, Sabafon, and Y). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for data analysis.
The results revealed a statistically significant positive impact of strategic thinking on service quality, with an effect coefficient of (β = 0.76). The results also indicated that opportunistic thinking and thinking in time were the only two dimensions that had a statistically significant impact on service quality. The study concluded with a set of practical recommendations to enhance the application of effective strategic thinking in the Yemeni telecommunications sector
