The impact of Business Process Reengineering on Total Quality ManagementA field study on mobile phone companies in the Republic of Yemen
This study sought to analyze and explore the impact of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) with its dimensions (strategic planning, human resources, information technology, organizational structure) on Total Quality Management (TQM) in Yemeni mobile phone companies. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method, and data were collected from the study sample using a questionnaire. The study population consisted of all employees, numbering (2,181) employees in the mobile phone companies in the capital Sana'a, and there are 3 companies: Yemen Mobile, YOU, and SabaFon Company. The study sample members were selected using the stratified random sampling method, as the sample numbered (527) individuals, to whom the questionnaire was distributed, and (399) valid questionnaires were returned for analysis. The study concluded that Business Process Reengineering (BPR) has a statistically significant effect on Total Quality Management (TQM) in Yemeni mobile phone companies in the capital city of Sana'a. The study recommended increasing attention to continuous changes and improvements in internal environmental factors within Yemeni mobile phone companies through BPR, given its significant impact on improving performance and product quality, helping these companies adapt to rapid changes in the surrounding environment, enhancing their competitiveness, and ensuring their sustainability.
