The Impact of Ethical Leadership on Organizational Behavior CitizenshipEmpirical study in Yemeni Telecomunication Sector
This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical leadership on organizational citizenship behavior among employees in the Yemeni telecommunications sector. The study adopted a descriptive, analytical, and correlational approach, and data were collected using a questionnaire designed based on contemporary theoretical frameworks of ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. A total of 356 randomly selected employees from the telecommunications sector participated in the survey. The data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to measure the relationship between the study variables, employing SPSS version 28.
The findings revealed that ethical leadership is practiced at a moderate level within telecommunications institutions, while organizational citizenship behavior appears at a good level, reflecting employees’ willingness to support their organizations despite existing challenges. The results also indicated a positive and statistically significant effect of ethical leadership on organizational citizenship behavior, suggesting that leaders’ integrity, fairness, transparency, and respect directly contribute to enhancing voluntary behaviors that support performance stability and operational effectiveness within the sector.
