The Reality of the Recognition of Social Work Profession fromthe Perspective of the Academics Staff in Social Work Departmentsat Yemeni Universities
This study aimed to identify the reality of the recognition of the social work profession from the point of view of the academics in social work departments at Yemeni universities. The study used descriptive approach, and used the questionnaire consisting of (75) paragraphs as a study tool. The study sample consisted of (35) academics in the social work departments at Yemeni universities. The study data were analyzed and interpreted using the statistical analysis program (SPSS). The study reached several results, the most prominent of which are: The level of recognition of the social work profession from the point of view of the academics in social work departments at Yemeni universities was weak. The institutional recognition came in first place of level of weak from the point of view of the academics in social work departments at Yemeni universities, the academic recognition came in second place, and the societal recognition came in third and last place.
