The goal of this study is to: Know the effect of a program that was built on the strategy of the systematic thinking in developing the orthographic skills of the students of third cycle of basic education in Sana’a.

        based on doing its procedures on ' The descriptive method ' to prepare the theoretical framework and quasi – experimental design.

      According to the related sources, papers and the dependable approach of the study, an achievement test has been done to know the effectiveness of the designed program on developing the orthographic skills. And after being sure of their equivalence statistically in some variables, the experiment and the materials of the study have been applied on the study's samples represented in (60) students whom have been chosen intentionally and randomly from the students of 8^th grade, the third cycle of basic education in Qutaibah ibn Muslim Basic – Secondary school.

     After finishing the period of applying the experiment, the sample's data have been processed. (pre - post). The results were as follows:

There are differences with statistical significance in the level of significance (0.05) between the levels of the students of the two groups. (experimental – controller) in the post application of the orthographic skills that is based on the effect of the independent variable in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended the need to programmatically redesign the educational content in the light of systemic thinking to develop different thinking skills and language skills.

Summary The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the strategy of differentiated education in developing reading skills in the Arabic language course for students of the scientific departments of the College of Education - Sana'a، relying on the two approaches (descriptive and semi-experimental). Differentiated education، reading skills test، and presenting them to arbitrators in the Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to judge their validity. The field study sample consisted of (41) male and female first-level students in the two departments (mathematics and life sciences) enrolled in the academic year (2021-2022)، representing one experimental group. They were taught reading skills using the differentiated education strategy. The results of the study revealed significant differences. Statistically at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group in the two applications (pre and post) to test reading skills in favor of the post application، which is attributed to teaching reading skills using the differentiated education strategy، and the researcher recommended the need to use the differentiated education strategy in teaching reading skills because of its effectiveness in Increasing the level of achievement among students.

     The research aimed to prepare a proposed strategic map for the development of the technical education and vocational training system in Republic of Yemen, by identifying the reality of technical education and vocational training in Republic of Yemen, the most important obstacles to its development, and the environmental analysis of the system. To achieve this, the researchers used the descriptive approach, by analyzing a number of documents related to the topic of research, consisting of a vision, mission, values ​​and goals for developing the system of technical education and vocational training in Republic of Yemen, in addition to the achievements and obstacles. The results of the research reached, the most important of which were identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges facing technical education and vocational training. Preparing the proposed strategic map for the development of technical and vocational education in Republic of Yemen, consisting of a vision, mission and values, as well as the dimensions of the strategic map represented in (the dimension of learning and growth - the dimension of internal operations - the financial dimension - the beneficiaries’ dimension).

The study aimed to identify the requirements for establishing institutional digital repositories for free access in Yemeni universities, by identifying the requirements (policy and legal legislation - organizational and administrative - technical and technical - financing and costs - office support - marketing - evaluation and evaluation) to create institutional digital repositories for free access in Yemeni universities . The study relied on the descriptive survey method by applying the questionnaire to an intentional sample of (160) individuals, including (108) individuals from the academic leaders, and (52) individuals from the administrative leaders working in (Sana’a University – Aden University – Taiz University – Hadhramout University). - Ibb University - Amran University - University of Science and Technology Sana'a - Andalus University - Al-Razi University - Al-Hikma University. In light of this, the study reached the agreement of the study sample members that the requirements for establishing institutional digital repositories for free access in Yemeni universities were at a (very high) degree, with a percentage of (87%), and with a mean of (4.35) and a standard deviation of (0.53), and the third field occurred: Technical and technical requirements ranked first with a percentage of (90%), average (4.51) and standard deviation (0.60). As for the seventh field: assessment and evaluation requirements, it ranked last with an arithmetic mean (4.18) and a standard deviation of (0.75), and a percentage (84%). ).

This study examines the expressive illocutionary acts uttered by the characters in

the novel Boy vs. Girl (2010) by Na'ima Robert. It aims at exploring the kinds of expressive illocutionary acts as suggested by Austin (1962) and Searle (1969). The study data consist of the utterances used by the characters in the text of the selected novel Boy vs. Girl, containing expressive illocutionary acts. This study follows a descriptive qualitative method to examine the collected data. The results showed that there are nine kinds of expressive illocutionary acts used in Boy vs. Girl, expressing dislike, longing, desire, surrender, anger, apology, admiration, grief and praising. Since this study observes the expressive illocutionary acts in Boy vs. Girl novel to reveal the hidden meaning of the expressive acts, it is recommended that speech act theory can be used by other researchers in reading other literary works. 

This study examines the strategies adopted in translating the interrogative speech act in Surah As-Saffat in the Holy Qur’ān in three selected English translations of the Holy Qur’ān meanings. It aims at investigating the syntactic and pragmatic translation strategies used by the three selected translators to render the illocutionary acts (pragmatic meanings) of Qur’ānic interrogations into English. The study data consist of 28 interrogations collected from the original Qur’ānic Arabic text of Surah As-Saffat along with their 84 corresponding English translations in the three selected English translations. Chesterman taxonomy (1997) for translation strategies has been adopted to examine the translation strategies used in the three selected English translations. Quantitative content analysis has been used to examine the collected data. The results showed that the three translators used different syntactic and pragmatic translation strategies to render the illocutionary acts of these Qur’ānic utterances. Of these strategies, the pragmatic strategy of ‘explicitness change’ used by the translators seems effective, in most cases, to convey the illocutionary acts of most of those Qur’ānic interrogations into English. Since most Qur’ānic interrogations seem to go beyond their basic meanings to indicate different pragmatic meanings, it is recommended that the Holy Qur’ān translators should first realize the illocutionary acts (pragmatic meanings) of such Qur’ānic interrogations. This would help them adopt appropriate translation strategies in rendering the intended meanings of such Qur’ānic utterances.

The current study aims to is developing a suggested proposal to include the nanotechnology concepts in geometry and measurement courses. The descriptive analytical method was used in conducting the study. Where a list of nanotechnology concepts was reached and according to it two instruments were built: The first, a scale of awareness of nanotechnology concepts, which was applied to the students of the Mathematics Department at the College of Education, they were (149) students.  The second: a form for analyzing the content of geometry and measurement courses where it was applied On the curricula of Geometry and Measurement (1) and Geometry and Measurement (2), which are taught in the Mathematics Department, College of Education - Sana’a. The results of the study showed a low awareness of nanotechnology concepts among students of mathematics at the College of Education in Sana’a, and the results of the analysis showed that the courses in Geometry and Measurement (1) and Geometry and Measurement (2) were devoid of nanotechnology concepts and applications, which shows the extent of the shortcomings of the courses in keeping pace with global updates. According to the results of the study, a suggested proposal was built to include nanotechnology concepts and their applications in each of the scientific content, activities and tasks presented to students.
