The effectiveness of the listening triangle strategy in developing speaking skills for students of the third cycle of basic education in the Republic of Yemen
Abstract
The study aimed to know the effectiveness of the listening triangle strategy in developing speaking skills for students of the third cycle of basic education in the Republic of Yemen. In speaking skills, in addition to the teacher’s guide for teaching the educational unit, the research sample consisted of (60) female students, from the seventh grade students, who were selected from the schools (Al-Ramah for Girls) and (Al-Yemen Al-Saeed for Girls) in the Directorate of Educational Revolution in the capital Sana’a And they were divided into two groups: (experimental) group and (control) group, where group (A) in (Al-Ramah School for Girls) represents the experimental group, which was taught using the listening triangle strategy, and its number was (30) female students, while group (C) represented The control group in (Yemen Al-Saeed for Girls) school, which was taught in the usual way, numbered (30) students, and the research reached the following results:
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the responses of the experimental and control groups on the test of speaking skills in the post application of the seventh graders of the basic education stage, in favor of the experimental group that studied using the listening triangle strategy.,
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average responses of the experimental group on the test of speaking skills in the pre and post applications of the seventh graders of the basic education stage, in favor of the experimental group that studied using the listening triangle strategy.
The study recommended employing the listening triangle strategy in developing the four language skills, in all grades of basic and secondary education; Because of its positive impact in enabling learners to master language skills

The Level of Mathematical Communication among Mathematics Students at the Faculty of Education - Sana'a University
Abstract
This study aimed identify the level of mathematical communication among mathematics students at the faculty of education-Sana'a University. To achieve this aim, the researchers used descriptive approach. The sample of this study consisted of (171) mathematics students at the faculty of education-Sana'a. The study instrument consisted of mathematical communication questionnair. To treat data statistically, the data was analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, percnt and Pearson correlation. The study results showed the level of mathematical communication among mathematics students was low.

The effect of teaching with the directed imagination strategy on developing the functional expression skills of secondary school students
Abstract
The research aimed to know the effect of teaching by the strategy of directed imagination in developing the functional expression skills of secondary school students in Al-Mahwit Governorate, in the first semester of the academic year (2021AD - 2022AD). With (60) female students from Osama Bin Zaid School for Girls, equally divided into two groups (an experimental taught functional expression skills according to the strategy of directed imagination, and a control group taught functional expression skills in the traditional way), and (46) students from the Unity Educational Complex, equally distributed into two groups (experimental who were taught functional expression skills according to the strategy of directed imagination, and control group who were taught functional expression skills in the traditional way),)They were chosen intentionally, based on the quasi-experimental method; To achieve the goal of the research, the research tools (a list of skills for functional expression, a teacher’s guide according to the strategy of directed imagination, a skills test for functional expression) were prepared and presented to arbitrators specialized in Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to judge their validity. At the significance level (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the test of developing functional expression skills for the Arabic language subject due to the variable of teaching method, in favor of the experimental group.

The Effectiveness of a Proposed Motor Rehabilitation Program with some Physiotherapeutic Methods to Promote Grip muscle strength and stable motor balance in Post-stroke Hemiplegic Patients.
Abstract
This research study aims at identifying the effectiveness of a proposed motor rehabilitation program with some physiotherapeutic methods to promote motor abilities in post-stroke hemiplegic patients (Grip muscle strength and stable motor balance,).
The research sample consisted of (6) patients chosen in an intentional way from the original research community. The experimental method of the one-group design for the pretests and post-tests of the group was applied for its appropriateness to fulfilling the objectives and hypotheses of the research. The program was carried out within a (3) month- period, divided into (36) training units having (3) sessions per a week. The duration of each session lasted for one hour to an hour and a half. The physical variables (muscle power, and neuromuscular coordination) were studied.
The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the pretests and post-tests in Grip muscle strength and stable motor balance, were in favor of post-tests.
At the end, the research recommended that the rehabilitation program of this study should be used carefully and immediately after the injury or at an early stage for patients with stroke resulting from hemiplegia to verify the effectiveness of the program and prevent complications that may occur if the rehabilitation program is neglecte

Using the Modern Theory in Constructing a Criterion - Referenced Test for a Calculus Course (1) According to the One-Parameter Logistic Model
Abstract
- This study aimed at using the modern theory in constructing a criterion - referenced test for a calculus course (1) according to the one-parameter logistic model. To achieve this goal, a test of (40) multiple-choice items was constructed to measure students' achievement in the course, according to the required standards. The test applied in the academic year 2020-2021 on a sample of (240) Sana’a University students were randomly chosen. The results of the statistical program (SPSS) showed in verifying the assumptions of the modern theory in the study data, while the results of the statistical program (Bilog-MG3) verified that (35) test items fit the one-parameter logistic model, and that all members of the study sample fit this model. Additionally, item difficulty of the test was found to be acceptable and consistent with the criteria given in the review of literature. The study recommended using this test, in addition to constructing other tests using modern theory models.
