The Impact of Economic Development Strategy on The Reality of Social Development in Yemen: A field study- Sana'a Capital Governorate
This study aimed to determine the impact of the economic development strategy on the reality of social development in Yemeni society. To achieve this, the study used the descriptive-analytical method and employed a questionnaire as the research instrument. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of (52) employees in local development organizations. The research population included (10) local development organizations operating in the field of development and based in the capital, Sana'a. The most prominent findings of the study were as follows:
- There are clear strategies to ensure community participation, including awareness, training, consultation, and the provision of incentives.
- Local development organizations rely on external funding in preparing their budgets, reflecting the availability of international support sources that contribute to the continuity of their activities.
Development programs show a positive impact on the local community from the beneficiaries' perspective, reflecting relative effectiveness in achieving social goals.
