The Role of Smart Leadership on Promoting Talent ManagementA field Study in The Yemeni Private Universities
This study aimed at determining the role of smart leadership with its dimensions (emotional intelligence, rational intelligence, and spiritual intelligence) on enhancing talent management, and exploring the level of achieving smart leadership and talent management in Yemeni private universities.
The study adopted the descriptive method through the surveying and correlational approaches. The study population represented the academic and administrative leaders (317) elements, in 5 universities out of 32 authorized private universities. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, distributed to a simple randomized sample consisting of (175) individuals. The results were analyzed using (SPSS 27).
The results showed that: there was a statistically significant role of the smart leadership with its dimensions on enhancing talent management in Yemeni private universities. The results showed high level of achieving smart leadership, and high level of achieving talent management despite the presence of some challenges related to talent retention.
The study recommended: enhancing the interest of smart leadership in Yemeni private universities, and utilizing it to enhance talent management in a way that ensures the sustainability of innovation and development in academic and administrative performance, while increasing awareness of the importance of talent management -considering talented individuals as intellectual capital and key assets in universities- and emphasizing the need to build integrated systems for talent retention, contributing to higher job satisfaction and reduced employee turnover rates.
