The effectiveness of a program based on the Rothkopf model in developing grammatical skills among secondary school students in Amanat Al-Asimah - Sana’a

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the Rothkopf model in developing grammatical skills among secondary school students in Amanat Al-Asimah - Sana’a, relying on the two approaches (descriptive and quasi-experimental). To achieve the goal of the study, an achievement test was prepared and presented to arbitrators in the language curricula. Arabic and its teaching methods to assess its validity. The study sample consisted of (80) male first year secondary school students, distributed equally into two groups: experimental and control, chosen randomly from my school (Al-Durra High School Complex and Al-Hassan Bin Ali Secondary School), which were chosen intentionally to represent the study sample. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-application of the grammatical skills test in favor of the experimental group. , is attributed to teaching the experimental group using the Rothkopf model. In light of the results, a number of recommendations were proposed, including: the need to pay attention to developing grammatical skills for all age groups; Because of its importance in helping them communicate and adapt to life.
