Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the role of intellectual capital in achieving strategic success within the Hayel Saeed Anam Group, a prominent business conglomerate in Yemen. The research focuses on three dimensions of intellectual capital—human capital, structural capital, and relational capital—and their impact on the organization's strategic success, defined by survival, adaptation, and growth.
Employing a descriptive and analytical approach, the study surveyed (207) leaders across (12) companies within the group, utilizing a comprehensive sampling method. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire designed to assess both the availability of intellectual capital and the level of strategic success.
Results indicate high levels of both intellectual capital and strategic success within the organization. A strong positive correlation was found between intellectual capital and strategic success. Notably, the study revealed varying contributions from the three components of intellectual capital, with relational capital emerging as the most significant, followed by human capital and structural capital.
The findings underscore the importance of intellectual capital in driving strategic success and provide valuable insights for organizational leadership. Recommendations include developing targeted strategies to enhance stakeholder relationships, implementing comprehensive human resource development programs, and conducting a thorough review of organizational structures to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
This research contributes to the growing body of literature on intellectual capital and its strategic implications, offering practical insights for businesses operating in dynamic environments
